Rent this property over the 4th of July and watch 3 firework displays simultaneously while sitting in pool. There is an outside shower next to the pool. The patio includes a propane BBQ and there is plenty of seating for out door meals and relaxing by the pool. One outside table can seat up to 6, another is perfect for a romantic dining experience for 2, and still another is perfect for 4. There is also an exquisite cactus garden. The cacti flower each spring and provide a colorful addition to the yard.
High Ceilings! The family room has sliding glass doors leading to the pool area. There is a full bar with sink and small refrigerator in the family room as well as a large cable TV with DVD and VHS accompaniment. The gas fireplace is perfect for cool evenings. This home is a very special place that is peaceful and serene and has fabulous views!
Lovely Cali charm with tons of space and beautiful view!
Three couples, long time-close friends, stayed at this house for the month of January 2018. Our review:
Here’s what we loved:
Very spacious, comfortable house
Beautiful view of the Coachella Valley and Palm Springs
Reasonably good access to attractions of the Coachella Valley (typically a 20-30 minute drive on good roads to most attractions)
Lovely pool & deck area
Well-appointed kitchen with lots of pots, pans, dishes & cutlery
Nice bar area
Nice fireplace with lots of very dry wood
The owner (John) was accessible and responded promptly to any issues we raised
Here’s what disappointed us:
Closets had lots of personal stuff in them (e.g.old TVs, lamps, slide carousels for projector) that left little room for the renter’s clothes
Patio furniture was old and well-worn (paint peeling off furniture; ripped cushions)
Dishwasher did not clean well, even with pre-rinsing
We have raised these disappointments with the owner who committed to addressing them. Had we not encountered these disappointments, we’d have given this location 5 stars.
Great home, Great view, Great pool, Great hosts, FANTASTIC VACATION WITH FAMILY! We hope to return.
We enjoyed our stay in this spacious house. While not fancy it was very livable. The view of the valley and mountains are incredible. We enjoyed the pool but a couple of times it got too windy to be outside. It is a bit of a drive to Palm Springs but it was worth it for the view and the quiet neighborhood. I would have given five stars but for the delay in receiving the refund of the security deposit....it took 23 days after our trip to get a check. I did not want to review until I received the refund. Some friendly advice to the owner would be to streamline this process in the future and improve communication. Overall a very enjoyable stay....I thank them for sharing their home.
Lovely home. Comfortable, clean and a mesmerizing view. Appreciated that it had everything we needed for a few days of relaxation. Thank you Marilyn.
We enjoyed the property very much. It had everything we needed and the location worked well for us.
