Please message me before booking. Time to start thinking about booking your summer vacation. Amelia Island is back. Island is open for business. Beautiful time of the year to visit. Relax on Amelia Island in our beautiful three bedroom, two bath condo nestled among sprawling oaks, tropical palms and fountain ponds just outside your balcony. Just steps to the pool or two blocks to the beach.

Pet friendly with owners approval.

The complex is very family friendly with lots of green space, a shaded playground and a barbecue area with grills and picnic tables.

This wonderful condo on beautiful Amelia Island is located in Fernandina Beach near all its great restaurants, fabulous golf, white sand beaches, historic locations, wonderful shopping in old historic downtown, horseback riding, deep sea fishing, airplane rides, and jet skis. Our island also has miniature golf, a movie theater just off the island, its a new 10 screen theater.

The owner lives two blocks from the condo and the property manager lives four blocks away and both are available 24 hours a day if needed. The owner inspects the property once a week.

Amelia Island—a barrier island located about 35 miles northeast of Jacksonville—has been consistently ranked among the Top 10 Islands in the United States by Condé Nast Traveler. At just 2 miles wide and 13 miles long from its northernmost tip to its southernmost point, the secluded island offers a string of pristine beaches. Main Beach has sports and entertainment, and Peters Point is well suited for family picnics. Then there’s Seaside Park at Sliders, where you can park your car on the beach.

Situated on the northeast corner of the island, Fernandina Beach is a Victorian seaport village filled with eclectic shops and restaurants. Stroll through the 50-block historic district to glimpse Victorian, Queen Anne, and Italianate homes listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Nearby, in Fort Clinch State Park, you can tour a preserved 19th-century fort, hike or bike on the 6-mile trail that loops through the park, or go for a swim on the unspoiled beaches.

Beautifully re-done condo with new paint and flooring throughout, new kitchen and baths with granite countertops. This fully equipped end unit condo features 3 bedrooms, with a king size master bedroom, a double bed, and 2 singles. New sleeper sofa that sleeps two people. Other amenities include washer/dryer, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, cable television, free Wi-Fi and DVD player. This vacation also includes use of the swimming pool, tennis courts, and children's playground. A fully equipped kitchen plus all linens and pillows are provided.

Vacation at Amelia Island

Our rental unit had a nice view and located within walking distance to the beach. The shrimp festival at Amelia Island was massive with vendors and food. The parade was enjoyable and the children loved all the goodies that were handed out. Also on our agenda was Jecyle Island which we enjoyed very much.

What I basically expected for the LOW cost. Good for those on a budget. Good location. Near beach!

As stated, basically what I expected for the LOW cost. Good location and nice complex. Walking distance to beach and a short from beautiful the beautiful historic downtown. I would recommend to the owner to upgrade the mattresses in bedrooms , at the very least. Good place to stay for those on a budget and mainly looking for a place to just put your head down at night.

Amelia Island is beautiful, the weather not so much, but we enjoyed our visit. However

While the island, as always, was beautiful and Forest Ridge Condos were in a great location, we were not pleased with several items in the condo unit A6. For starters we were disappointed we had to remind Dorene that we needed the combo to get into the unit. The needed numbers we received the day before we left!!

The master bath tub/shower would drain so slowly that you were standing in water above your ankles. AND the tub was disgustingly dirty when we arrived!!

The mattress in the master bedroom was sagging horribly and when investigated, there was no center support! AND the sink would not drain in the second bath. AND we were sneezing and coughing so checked the AC filter. THERE WAS NONE!!

We had to clean drawers in order to use them. They were extremely dusty and had long black hairs in the them. That is and was disgusting!!!!

We left Florida on 1/4/18 and as of 1/27/18 we have not received our deposit. This has been difficult to write as we have never encountered this situation before and hope this helps the owners do a better job so a negative review will not need to be written by anyone else. Sometimes buying furniture, tv, etc. from resale shops does NOT work!!!

Owner's Response: We live FOUR blocks away, FOUR! Yet we never got a call. Credibility lost. I should not respond to this silliness, but I will. Be intellectually honest at least. The real issue they are mad it, weather! We can't control that. Bizarre and rare, coldest winter since I have been here since 2003. Thats the culprit and hes taking it out on us. No a/c filter? You didn't bother to reach out and tell us this? Really? Again...we live four blocks away. Slow drains? OK, I use Draino when needed. No call alerting us to this? FOUR blocks. Tubs were not filthy, how do I know this, I walked through and inspected. Water here is full of minerals and its hard. It leaves marks so it looks dirty. He knows they were not dirty. Tubs were refinished twice and can't be done again. May as well repeat this, we live four blocks away. Furniture. sleeper couch purchased this summer, smart TV bought this summer. Claiming we buy used furniture. Laughable. Support missing, we live four blocks away. As far as deposit. Again, he knows what happened but he is neglecting stating this. Envelope came back for some reason and another was mailed out as soon as he emailed me asking where it was. I get it, you were mad at the weather. But taking it out on owners who have been doing this over ten years with multiple properties is just wrong. We mail deposits back as soon as inspected and always within two days. Our customer service is outstanding since we live FOUR blocks away. If you don't notify us we can't help you. Very unfair and morally bankrupt to post this without reaching out to us. I have brought my personal surfboard to people to use. Anything that is needed we will get. But you need to ask. Photos are accurate of condo. I will LIVE Facetime you from the unit to confirm if you want. One of us is always on island, FOUR blocks away. :)

Great Location

Such a great location! My son loved finding the turtles each morning, and the playground swings were right outside our door!! We were a 5 mins walk to the board walk to get to the beach! We were very pleased!

$200 security deposit to be refunded upon inspection after vacating of premises. Applicable taxes are not included in the above rates.

Rates are subject to change and must be verified upon inquiry. A deposit od $200 is required to hold the unit. The full rental amount is due 30 days before arrival. Debit and credit cards are accepted with a 4% surcharge.

Manager's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 14 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
