About the Owner

I took our family home approximately 2 weeks before hurricane Katrina and was in the mist of renovating it as the storm approached. Although the property did sustain some damage I was determined to restore it to its former glory in which took just under4 years to complete and La Maison Prudeaux was born. I am a hands on owner although I reside in California half of the year I am in New Orleans each and every month to check on the property and staff that takes care of things while I'm away. Being from a family of contractors I constantly am improving upon the property and I take every suggestion from my guest to heart and attempt to integrate them. I enjoy chatting with our guest prior to their arrival and I make an effort to stay in touch with them well after their departure. Most of my guest return to stay with us and we've had the same guest for just about every major holiday and event for the past 5 years. Please take a moment to read our reviews and make your decision from that point but most importantly feel free to contact me with any questions or assistance you may require. Thank you, Caesar

A great home away from home!

  • 5 of 5

Our stay at this property was wonderful! The location was amazing....anything you could possibly need was close by. The home was gorgeous and everything worked perfectly. Caesar was easy to contact the one time we needed him...and the only reason we needed him was because of a mistake I made. We would love to stay here again and would recommend it highly!

Happy Vacation Rental Guests

  • 5 of 5

WOW! We're back from a truly amazing Essence Festival Weekend in New Orleans while staying at the La Maison Prudeaux Guest house. Caesar, I wanted to send you a note to thank you for sharing your beautiful home. While we were hoping for a nice "rental property", La Maison Prudeaux clearly super exceeded our expectations! From the decor to the layout to the furnishings to the smallest of touches, La Maison Prudeaux is truly a treasure. We loved the quiet and peacefulness of the neighborhood and relaxing on the porch swing. This was our home away from home and will most definitely be back. We do have one negative comment: The days just weren't long enough, and our time at La Maison Prudeaux was too short!! :)

Easy in the Big Easy

  • 5 of 5

This property was fabulous ! It's located two blocks from the trolley and close to a number of wonderful restaurants and fun bars. The property was immaculate. The interior is tastefully decorated and was perfect for two couples to share. Caesar has a wonderful rental property that we hope to stay at again in the near future.

Jazz Fest in New Orleans...

  • 5 of 5

We had the best week in New Orleans staying in your lovely home... The neighborhood is wonderful! We felt the comforts of home the moment we walked in. The neighborhood coffee shops, restaurants and bars added such a nice flare to our stay! So much better than staying in a hotel! Driving to the Festival and the French Quarters were easy breezy... 😎

You will definitely see us again!!!

wonderful !!!

  • 5 of 5

2 couples visiting for French Quarter Fest - we shared this gem and had a wonderful time! Very clean, welcoming & spacious with comfortable beds. Very nicely decorated with NOLA feel. We used the lovely kitchen to make breakfasts before we headed out for the day. Since it rained a lot we returned in the evenings and enjoyed the big screen tv and the table which was great for playing bananagrams. Caesar was great to work with and check in/out was easy. We enjoyed area restaurants - especially Company Burger ( best burgers ever!) and Hi Hat - both worth checking out. Although there are only 2 actual bedrooms a family or close knit group of 6-8 would be quite comfy here definitely recommend a stay!

Will Absolutely Stay Here Again!

  • 5 of 5

I had to travel to New Orleans on very short notice (my daughter is a student at Tulane and had become very ill). I needed to fly out the same day I made the reservations and was scrambling for accommodations. Caesar was a lifesaver and could not have been more helpful. He searched through his properties to find one that was available close to Tulane and expedited the paperwork allowing me to arrive that same day. Upon arrival I found a place that was sparkling clean, completely renovated and one block to Starbucks! It is located one block from Maple Street (lots of quaint shops and restaurants) and a short walk to Tulane, Audobon Park and the streetcars. It is within easy driving distance (or long walk if you're up to it) of Magazine Street and convenient by streetcar or car to the French Quarter. I couldn't recommend it more. I am coming again next month with my other daughter and was delighted to learn that we have booked (unknowingly) another one of Caesar's properties. I know that we will find that one just as clean and well tended to as this one. Plus, Caesar is just the kind of person I'd like to rent from - someone willing to help you out when you need it. We will be coming again in the fall as a family and we'll definitely book this same place.

Location

From the Owner

This property is located in a quaint part of town called the Uptown, Carrolton, University, River Bend area. We are literally walking distance from Loyola and Tulane University, Audubon Park and Zoo and around the corner from shops, restaurants, Bars and Boutiques on Maple St. There is a PJ's coffee and Starbucks within one block and to top it off there's a real French Bakery just across the street from them. We are approximately a 15 minute cab ride from the French Quarters and only 3 blocks away from beautiful St Charles Street trolley car that runs around the clock and in my opinion you must ride the streetcar down to the Quarters to have a true New Orleans experience. Additionally, we are also close to Oak St, which is another on of the city's hidden jewels that the locals frequent to dine, shop and hear live music. Please take a moment to read our reviews but most importantly feel free to give me a call to discuss your stay and plan your itinerary for your ideal vacation in the Big Easy. Thank you, Caesar
