About Tom Hillyer
We are Tom & Gigi Hillyer. We live in the Denver area and love the Breckenridge area. Our two children grew up skiing at Breckenridge and raced on the local ski team.
Tom Hillyer purchased this House in 2009
Why Tom Hillyer chose Breckenridge
Perfect location. We have personally done extensive renovations since we bought the property and take great pride in providing a quality comfortable rental.

Great property, plenty of room
The property worked well for my groups needs, which were ski, eat, sleep. Repeat. It's a few mi drive to Breck, about 15 to AB.
The house had plenty of room for 5 guys,. There were no surprises. Kitchen is well equipped.
Just be aware of the address and driveway location. A gps may take you a roundabout way. The loc. Is spelled out by the owner.
Excellent house, superbly equipped cozy and quiet.
We spend 2 weeks in Tom's house, during heavy snow storm and extreme cold. All was very clean, everything was working. The house has a tenant, Travis, in the ground floor, completely sound insulated, but the good thing is that Travis takes care of shuffling and plowing the snow from the drive way. The kitchen is really well equipped with high quality utensils, glasses, cutlery and plates. Dining with a view on a daily basis. If you like to cook you really have everything you can think off. The bed rooms are comfy, quiet and correctly temperated, a large master suite with view all around invites to chill. Intrnet t speed above 40 MB/sec allow Hifi streaming.
We'll be back, thanks Tom.
House was exactly as pictured plus more.
Conveniently located. Spent most of our time in Breckenridge. Drove to Vail one day which was a very convenient drive. We were a family of 8 ( 4 adults and 4 teens). Plenty of space. House is very modern with lots of upgrades, appeared newly renovated. Well stocked with towels, toiletries, condiments etc, more then any VRBO i have ever rented. We initially passed the house. Would recommend putting additional instructions to the house. The GPS takes you further up the hill. Was also missed by food delivery driver. Sleds were an extra bonus which we used. Thanks. Recommend updating fireplace instructions. Fireplace is gas :) thanks for sharing your lovely home, we fully enjoyed our stay.
Great location, great house, had everything we were looking for
Awesome skiing with plenty of snow while we were here.. couldn't have wished for a better place to come back and relax in for the night...
Most memorable vacation!
If you want to go on a vacation to a home away from home - then look no further. This house was the best stay in our 10-year rental experience. Equipped better than a 5 star hotel with a kitchen to satisfy any gourmet cook, cleanliness of the place, meticulous detail. Sufficient towels and bedsheets for 8 people, comfortably. Stocked kitchen, bathrooms... they've left nothing out...
Minutes away from Breckenridge ski resort, 15 mins from Copper, Keystone..
We've had great time and experienced CO in a most great way.
Thank you, Tom, once again for opening your doors to allow us to stay. We are going to be back next year again, all else equal.
Beautiful home close to the slopes
I stayed at this property for a 5-day ski vacation with some old friends. The house was well-furnished, clean, and spacious. The recessed lighting above the mantle and step lighting between floors 2-3 were very nice. The grill out back was large and worked great, and there was plenty of firewood stocked for the wood-burning fireplace. The kitchen was well-stocked with spices, flatware, and utensils, and all appliances worked perfectly and looked new. The location is fantastic, it took just about 5 minutes to the Breckenridge parking lots from the driveway. A 4x4 truck is definitely recommended to make it up the driveway after fresh snow. Also, you may not be able to fit in the garage if you drive a large truck and put ski racks on the top. We had less than an inch of clearance with a Ford Expedition and decided to leave the car outside. There is a tenant who lives on the bottom floor, but we never were aware of his presence except for the car outside. The layout of the house has the living and kitchen areas on the top floor and all bedrooms on the bottom floor, which helps isolate noise and keep the house relatively soundproof. The beds were all comfortable and as described, with plenty of blankets and pillows. This place could easily sleep 8 people if you double-up on the large beds and pull out the trundle in the master room. The bedroom with the queen bed gets kind of cold overnight, which may make it difficult to get out from under the covers in the morning, especially if you are getting up early to hit the slopes. The owners were friendly, responsive, and helpful. Overall a fantastic place to stay for a ski trip in Summit County, can't get much better than this place.
