House, 3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, 8 Sleeps
This antique cape features 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and an outdoor shower. The house has a fully equipped kitchen with washer and dryer, living room and family room with cable TV, and DVD. There is both a charcoal and gas grill, a patio and picnic table.
Located just steps to Bank Street beach. The location is right in Harwich Port close to everything, restaurants, shopping and amusements for the children and just steps to the beach.
About the Owner
My sister and I own the family home now. My grandparents purchased the house as a young married couple. It has been passed down to us.
From the Owner
“The property is unique because it was originally on Nantucket. It was floated over to Harwich Port when the whaling business there to failed. There are other floated over house all around Harwich Port. You can tell them apart because they don't sit squarely on the lots since the roads were merely dirt paths when they arrived.”
Activity and Interests
The house is a short drive to all activities...boating, bike paths, batting cages, bumper boats, golf, miniature golf, supermarket, go-karts, tennis, and library. After a trip to the supermarket, you could park your car and never drive for the rest of your vacation...a truly relaxing experience.
