A queen sized master bed, new twin sized murphy bunks and a new sleeper sofa make comfortable sleeping arrangements for 6 adults. Set just behind the saw grass dunes, from your balcony you'll enjoy a clear view of the surf, while experiencing a special privacy, out of view from onlooking beach crowds.

If you don't feel like grilling out at the beach side barbecue pits, you are only a stones throw from the Banana Cabana, Coda Del Pesce, Coconut Joes, the world famous Windjammer beach bar and grill and the Front Beach shopping area. This condominium complex claims the only pier on the Front Beach strand and is private for your fishing or relaxation enjoyment.

Updated, great location, very small

We have 2 small kids and a baby, and thought this condo would be a perfect fit for us. Sadly, it was definitely WAY too small. There was not much floor space for my kids to play during downtime away from the beach. Although I knew the floor plan before we arrived, it was so much smaller than I had imagined. We put a pack & play in the bedroom and it took up that floor space so we had to move it just to open the door enough to get in and out. The 2nd bedroom is definitely not a bedroom, more like a nook with the murphy beds. The location is so close to the beach, and the street is filled with restaurants and gift shops. The pier is awesome. The pool was nice to have as well. It is nicely updated/decorated, was clean, and had everything we needed for the kitchen, and enough storage space for all of our stuff for the week. I would only recommend this for 2 adults, or possibly a family with 1-2 older children if you don't plan to spend much time in the condo.

Location is excellent. The property is extremely small.

The property is o.k. It will be fine for a couple. More than two people is very small to feel comfortable. The only plus of the property in general is the easy access to a very nice beach. The owner is very nice and easy to reach. He tries his best to help with issues.

Owner's Response: The size of the condo is published on the website as well as is the floor plan. These units in this complex are are all the same size and can accommodate up to six people for sleeping if necessary. This particular unit has new custom designed Murphy twin bunks to allow additional sleeping comfort for adults. The price of the vacation is half the cost compared to larger area 2 bathroom condos allowing a family to enjoy an economical vacation in a prime location with a fishing pier right on the beach and in the prime business district.

It was okay

It could have been cleaner, I dont believe the Murphy bed linens had been changed, they smelled. The floors were sticky. Too much furniture on the balcony, it wasnt comfortable and you couldnt move out there. The condo needs smaller furniture, the stools are too big, go with backless stools, the couch is huge and takes up too much of living area. The co do next door 140 is a good example of how to use right size furniture and was so much cleaner overall.

Owner's Response: We provide a housekeeping phone number to all guests in case there is any issue with the maid service.The guest never called to notify us of any housekeeping need. The porch furniture was due for replacement and has been replaced. All the furniture in the condo is new this year.

Great little place to stay!

Location was great and near lots of things to do and eat. The condo was small but clean. It does sleep 6 people but with close quarters. So it depends on how much time you plan on spending in the condo. We simply use it as a place to sleep and shower when on vacation so it was great. Has a nice small balcony. But because its first floor you can not see the beach itself. You can, however see the ocean and the pier which was very nice! We will be going back.

Great propery for a great price!

My husband, myself and our three kids stayed at the Sea Cabins over Easter weekend. We chose it because it was priced far better than anything else in the Isle of Palms, beachfront. This was a great place to stay! It isn't brand new; however, it did have everything that we needed and then some. I plan on going back there as soon as possible. I would definitely recommend!

Labor Day Stay

I give this a 3 star for 2 reasons - the overall property and responsiveness of the owner. First of all, Sea Cabins is an aging complex and it shows. The exterior of the building and the pool are both in need of updates. While not a deal breaker, it was very noticeable. Also the wi-fi was not very reliable. As for the unit itself, it was nice and I had no issues. However, when we had some plumbing issues (very slow drain in the shower) and sent a message to the owner, I never heard from him. I also tried to call and no response. While we dealt with it for the 3 days we were there, it was annoying. Probably won't rent at Sea Cabins again.

Owner's Response: This complex is a group of individually owned properties that vary greatly in the level of quality. This villa was completely remodeled this year and is appointed to the utmost level of quality. We strive to accommodate our guests to a 5 star quality level and achieve it as you can see by the other comments.. This guest requested assistance twice during the stay and was accommodated immediately. We have no record of any request for assistance on the plumbing and since we have become aware of this we have investigated it and found no issue. The property complex, located in the heart of the front beach area where all the shops and restaurants are located is equipped with the only fishing pier on this beach and is private for our patrons use. The complex is scheduled to be fully maintained and repainted this fall on a 7 year schedule and we will be adding fishing pier benches all along the pier length.. We respectfully disagree with the comments of the patron and challenge the validity of the comments.

This 2015 remodeled property replaces the old narrow 25" wide child bunk beds with regular size, 10" think twin bed mattresses housed in a pull-down Murphy bed style configuration to accommodate any size adult for a wonderful night's sleep.
