I have been staying at this studio for three years in a row every time I go to the OutsideLands festival. Linda is so sweet and reaponds very quickly to any and all questions. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. I stayed alone this year and did not have any worries about safety. It's in the heart of everything local and I take Lyft around the city. She leaves a recommendation of restaurants and phone numbers. I love that it has a fridge and utensils with a microwave. I absolutely love this studio and San Francisco. I think it's reasonable priced and Linda is so awesome to all of her guests. It's a beautiful studio to stay in and you won't want to stay anywhere else after you experience this stay. A lot of restaurants are less than 5 minutes away (walking distance), the airport is 20 minutes away and so are all of the other sights for tourists. Highly recommend!
This place was perfect for me. It was clean and functional. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen consisted of a mini fridge, sink, microwave, some plates and utensils and everything worked. The studio was within a couple blocks in any direction from a bus stop that would take you practically anywhere in SF. The only thing to warn you about is the steep stairs. People with some physical disabilities should reconsider staying elsehwhere.
Booking and arrival arrangements were smooth and straight forward. Linda was very kind in answering all our questions before our arrival and during our stay.
The studio is just as the pictures show, simple, spacious with the necessary items for a confortable stay, nothing fancy. The pacific heights neighbourhood is beautiful, quiet and safe! There are homeless people everywhere in SF... Well... Not in Pacific Heights! It was safe to walk to the nearby restaurants and pubs in Union St were there a lot of different options in tastes and prices. Theres also a walgreens and a grocery store 3 blocks from the house and a starbucks round the block. Parking is a huge issue in SF. This area has free parking from 6pm to 9 am and 2 hour parking for the rest of the day. Also good public transport nearby and nice downhill walk to ghirardelli square and fishermans wharf. I substracted a a Star from the rating because internet service was poor, could not facetime decently and could barely download maps or apps that are always helpful for travellers. Ended up going to starbucks for internet as the owner suggested. Would stay again for sure!!!
My wife and I rented this studio apartment for a 4 day stay in San Francisco to finish up our California honeymoon. When we arrived we were very pleased with the accommodations, lots of room for a studio and the owners had provided a nice booklet of sightseeing and restaurant recommendations. The location was fantastic, close to public transportation that took us to Fisherman's Wharf, AT&T Park for baseball, and close to one of the Big Bus sightseeing hop on hop off stops. Pacific Heights is a beautiful neighbourhood and if you don't mind walking 10-30 minutes you can get to great restaurants and pubs on Polk Street, Lombard Street, Union Street, Fillmore Street and Fisherman's Wharf. You are also only a 10 minute walk from California Street where you can ride the California/Van Ness cable car very close to Chinatown.
Setting up the payment and getting the keys from the owners was a positive experience that was very convenient and low maintenance. All done via email and quite straightforward. My wife and I enjoyed our stay here very much and when we go back to San Francisco we will definitely be trying to book accommodations here again.
Tip for anyone flying into or out of San Francisco...in the booklet that is provided in the suite there is a Super Shuttle that picks you up and takes you to the airport, was $29 for 2 people...a great deal!
Thanks Linda and Larry for a great accommodation to cap off our honeymoon, we'll hopefully be back soon!

This was a great choice to stay in SF for a week. The description/pictures were accurate, the location was fantastic. All of the amenities were there, we didn't have to request anything. Everything was lined out clearly in a folder with extra information about the area provided. We were very happy with the stay. The extra fold-out bed worked well, and was easily put away every morning. It happened to be very cold in the Bay Area when we first arrived, but the heater worked to perfection and there were plenty of warm blankets. There was coffee already there, thank-you, and I would certainly recommend this. The price was just right, I was delighted to get so much more than a motel room, and for a much better price. This was convenient to all the places we wanted to see whether we walked or took the bus. I have one thing to caution about, but I would caution anyone about this who is visiting SF. Don't rent a car. I didn't, I never would in the city, but there is really no parking to be found.
There are stairs, however, so you must be able to negotiate those. One more thing, when I told someone where we were staying, they said, "Oh, that is a noisy street." We never heard any noise, and slept well every night.
