Guestbook comments from the owner

Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to stay in this wonderful cabin! It truly was a great experience to share with our 9 year old daughter. We all enjoyed the décor and coziness of the home and spent every evening and every morning eating out on the back deck off the kitchen. We don't have that luxury this time of year in Florida!

The weather was great which allowed us to hike, tube down the river, drive through Cades Cove, and much more. The highlight for me was the evening of the 4th of July. We all headed up to Clingman's Dome to watch the fireworks and enjoy the sunset as well as the star-lit night. The location of this cabin is great for access to the mountains as well as to the downtown..

From the moment we got here, it has been so nice and exceeded our expectations. It was so nice to be across the street ftom the community swimming pool.

It was also so nice to be in direct contact with you to answer any questions I had.

Thank you again for a wonderful stay. This has been the BEST MAINTAINED cabin we have stayed in so far, as well as THE BEST DECORATED. I am sure we will visit Candlewood Cottage again in the future!

Comfy Convenient Cabin

  • 4 of 5

This was a cute little cabin! Pros: really quiet, clean, easy to get to, convenient to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Cons: lots of stuff in a small space, upstairs is hard to keep cool, cabins in neighborhood are close to each other. Overall a great value for the cost!

Very nice! Great location!

  • 5 of 5

Wayne and Pam,

Thank you for sharing your cabin with us. My family and I had a wonderful, relaxing stay. The cabin is in a great location. It is nestled right between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The Decour in the cabin is exactly what I would expect, and was fun to look at. Every time I would go up on down the stairs I would find myself looking at all the wonderful pictures. We especially enjoyed the hot tub after a busy day of sightseeing. And the pool location was great, just a short walk from the cabin, and I mean short. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. If we had any troubles or questions Wayne was just a phone call away. (And he would answer promptly.) I do recommend if you are there during a busy time of year, use the Trolley to get around. It is easy to use and only cost .50 to ride per trip. It is better than paying $10 down town. I would recommend this cabin to anyone visiting the Gatlinburg area. Thank you again Wayne and Pam for allowing us to use your beautiful cabin on our vacation.

God bless,

the Matulevich family

Looked nice

  • 3 of 5

Hi Wayne we absolutely loved your cabin there are a couple of suggestions though. The lady that clean the cabin before we got there I don't think she washed the sheets because they didn't smell clean they smell dirty and also there was no soap I thought would be a good touch to maybe have a couple small little bars of soap we had to bathe with our shampoo

Owner's Response: Thank you for your comment - however I would have much preferred to have been contacted upon your arrival for any issue pertaining to cabin quality. My email and cell phone are readily available and I do respond promptly. Posting comments in a public forum days after the fact do not provide me an opportunity to assess and address any actual issues. We do have many 5-star review pertaining to the cabin cleanliness. As to the soap being provided - we will take this under consideration. Should you have found a need to obtain some during your stay - there are at least three local stores within a two minute drive that could have filled that need without you having to use shampoo to bathe with. Sincerely, Wayne and Pamela Fisher

Cozy cabin in great location!

  • 5 of 5

This is a very cozy cabin that is in a great location. The cabin decor is a bit much, but I say that as a Mom of a toddler who wanted to touch it all. Would definitely stay again! Loved the touches of home like pool towels!
