Spectacular Views, WiFi, Elevator await you at the Carolina Clipper. The gorgeous sandy beach has a very low density with no condos but with great swimming and fishing. Neighborhood beach access is within 50 yards. The main living area has an open floor plan with a bright and sunny eating area. The cottage has wrap-around spaceous decks on both levels. The island is narrow in this area and great views of the ocean and sound abound. Take a stroll down the beach road while the kinds ride their bikes in this family beach community. You'll love it.

Amazing View

  • 5 of 5

My family loved our vacation and our stay at the Carolina Clipper. The house is well cared for, the kitchen is fully stocked and the beach gear is such a big help!! We live in New York and it was such a space saver not having to bring coolers and chairs and umbrellas in the car! The view is amazing from every part of the deck. We sat on the top deck after dinner and just took it all in. It was just so peaceful. The walk to the beach took two minutes and is a great area to set up for the day. The hammock was a favored spot amongst everyone in my family. We all took several afternoon naps just swaying in the ocean breeze taking breaks from the sun. We had a great week, only rained once for not even an hour. We will be back next year for sure!!

Three generations under one roof

  • 5 of 5

Great beach house, perfect location! We had 11 family members (three generations) for our first ever full week of vacation and we could not ask for a more perfect week. The house had everything we needed, the weather was perfect, the view from the top deck was stunning and a short walk to the beach made it easy with four tiny ones. The Grand-darlings loved playing in the surf, hunting for shells and watching the dolphins. Our only concern was the deck railings, but with seven adults keeping a watchful eye on the toddlers we did not let that keep us off the decks. The hammock was a great place for an afternoon nap. The beach was never crowded, just a few other families so it was like our own private beach. Stores and restaurants were a short drive in either direction. The elevator was a nice bonus. We even got to watch fireworks from the top deck a couple of nights. We are already making plans for next year! Thanks for sharing your lovely beach house with us.

Best family trip together

  • 5 of 5

What a relaxing place to stay! There were eleven of my family members here on vacation. We had a blast, each person relaxing at the beach (a beautiful view & short walk from the house), fishing at the pier, flying kites, eating out/shopping, or going to Ft. Macon. The house comes equipped with WiFi (important to those of us with iPads and laptops), beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, and a grill. The kitchen is also well-equipped for those nights you just want to cook/stay in & play cards/games (which we also did). The elevator sold us on the house--my mother-in-law who cannot climb stairs was able to get around as well as the rest of us. Would definitely rent this place again--very affordable compared to other houses this size.

The kids won't stop talking about it!

  • 5 of 5

This was our first trip back to the beach with all of our family in tow. There were three families and the house accommodated us nicely. The elevator was especially nice for my father-in-law who had a stroke which left him with paralysis on his left side, also for toting all of our food to the kitchen area. Beach access was awesome and there were tons of toys and things for the children to enjoy. The house was equipped with everything you would need for your stay, the kitchen had all of the gadgets and gizmos of home. I had heard from my family (over and over) how much they loved this house and would love to live there. Permanently! We had such a great time and this house played a major part. Thank you, Mr. Roberson!

Exceptional Views and Immaculate Home

  • 5 of 5

You won't miss being oceanfront in this house--the views are wonderful (better than many oceanfront houses we have stayed in) and the beach access is so close that getting there and back is not an issue at all. Even if you don't have a need for an elevator for mobility reasons, you will really appreciate not having to lug everything up and downstairs. The house was super-clean and very nicely furnished. We will definitely go back if we have the opportunity!

Our stay for daughters wedding

  • 5 of 5

I searched for weeks for the place where our family would stay to be able to attend our daughters wedding in Beaufort. Needed a place that would accommodate the ten of us plus be convenient for my mother in law who couldn't climb stairs. When looking at the Carolina Clipper online it had everything we were needing for our weeks stay. When arriving and seeing it in person was such a great surprise. The home was very clean and gave you the feel of being at home. We loved waking up to seeing and hearing the beach. It was a quiet neighborhood and a very peaceful atmosphere. The store locations were convenient and easy to get to. The owner was very courteous and helpful thru out the booking and once we arrived there. I would recommend this rental very highly. What u see advertised online is what you get plus some... We plan to return in the future and are really looking forward to it....
