We will definitely be back and would stay in this condo again. We were pleased with the space and the ease of access to the beach. Place could use a little updates in the kitchen and bathroom but nothing that would keep me from staying in this unit again. Jan and Corey were awesome to work with and very helpful. The welcome bucket when we arrived was a nice touch! See you next year!

Beautiful ocean views enjoyed each day on the spacious balcony. Attractive well appointed corner unit was clean, quiet, and the complex was well taken care of. The clubhouse and exercise room were a bonus. We enjoyed the gorgeous views and breeze while lounging poolside. Grilled steak outside the first night and enjoyed dining at many wonderful restaurants in the area the remaining nights. Highly recommend Christiano's Italian restaurant, it was fabulous! Their Coconut Cream pie is amazing.
The Beach House condo location can't be beat. Off the beaten path but convenient to everything. Will definitely be back.

Beautiful view and beach but condo could use some attention
The location is great and beach access is very easy. Pool is nice, but pretty crowded because of rough waters on beach. Tthe condo itself is nice but there were many small things that could be addressed. Weather was not good so we were inside more than expected. Plus some concerns about communication and safety. A maintenance man let himself into the apartment when my teenage daughter was there alone and did not leave right away when he discovered she was there. Said he had to change a filter in the bathroom? While attempting to brown some turkey in the pan that was available (no large non-stick frying pan), we filled the condo with smoke and the smoke detector did not go off. The building was painting stairwells so there was a "construction site" directly in front of our door the entire week and we had to use stairwell in next building - not terrible but would have appreciated some communication on this. Some of the condo issues had been noted by previous guests in the book but not addressed -- fitted bed sheet is worn and does not stay on the bed (and no supplemental sheets), no vacuum that works -- only straw broom for outside, which doesn't pick up sand inside well. The glass door to balcony was covered with salt because of the weather by mid week but there was no glass cleaner or rags to clean with. Tried with paper towels but didn't work very well. Big hole in cabinet under sink. The small things could be addressed quite easily. Since they were noted months ago by others, doesn't give good impression.
I'm sorry your beach experience fell short of your expectation. We aim to make every experience a good one. The maintenance department changes A/C filters monthly and are supposed to notify guests with a printed notice the day before they are changed to avoid your experience. I don't know why that procedure was not followed but I will follow up to make sure that doesn't happen again. They don't notify me or I would certainly have passed it along. While any guest is visiting we send out emails asking if they need anything or have questions. If I had known of your concerns about the fire alarm I would have had it checked for you. Maintenance routinely checks multiple smoke detectors in each condo and changes batteries. Since this condo is completely tiled as well as many others, some condos have only brooms/dustpans as some vacuums can be ineffective in cleaning. Sheets are rotated by cleaning service so not the same sheets for every condo and can be replaced by request. The outside rail painting is done by contractors who depend heavily on weather to do their work. Unfortunately I do not get communications on when they are planning to paint or I would have notified you. Overall it is truly our goal to make a great beach experience for every visitor and contacting me with any concerns over anything will be helpful in providing you the best service possible. Million dollar view!
The property is really a terrific piece of beachfront. More footage of waterfront with lower rise buildings really creates greater space on the beach itself. While the property is older, it is well maintained, and the unit is roomy. The particular unit in which I stayed is in need of a revamp with the soft furniture. Upholstery dirty, and lump in middle of mattress. Small things in the grand scheme, and my top priority is always water watching. To this end, the balconies are spacious, and could comfortably accommodate a table, four chairs and two chaise loungers. Really nice for sitting in the sun when high winds prevented actual beach time.I will book at Beach House again, just in a different unit.
