'Heaven On The Beach' is our direct ocean front

condo. The condo sleeps 6 - there's a queen bed in the private bedroom,

bunk beds in a 'nook' area (the kids love the bunk beds !) and a very comfy

sofabed in the living room.

The kitchen is a fully equipped kitchen with full size stove, refrigerator and

dishwasher. We'be loaded it with dishes, pots and pans - we tried to think

of everything our guests would want.

The living room has a sleeper sofa, as well as a very comfy recliner and a

swivel rocker. Sit in the living room and watch the waves and listen to the surf.

You can also enjoy the view of the ocean from the deck. We have a bistro table

on the deck so you can sit and enjoy the view !

We also have board games int he condo in case you get a rainy day.

We love sharing our little piece of Heaven with other families. We try to get down to the condos at least 2-4 times a year.

We fell in love with Myrtle Beach Resort.when we were looking at property to buy. the Resort is family friendly and has so many amenities that no where else in Myrtle Beach can offer. The resort prides itself on keeping the premises pristine and we really value that.

Great View/Location BUT....

When first booking, I had a pleasant experience with getting everything planned out with the owner of this condo. Upon arrival, the room does have a good view of the pool/beach and the condo for the most part was tidy. For our first day, the AC was performing very poorly (enough to make you want to sleep all day from it being so warm). On top of that, the sliding door to the balcony was not functional. The roller was worn out and literately the whole door had to be picked up to move it opened and closed. This was a problem because my mom is disabled and this was supposed to be her way to enjoy the beach oceanfront, but with this door broken, she couldn't open or close it on her own. I am a very healthy young male, and I had a difficult time myself with this, it was really annoying and cumbersome to deal with every day. Not to mention that, the door wouldn't close all the way, so there was a crack about half an inch wide letting any cool air we possibly had right out the window. On one side of the couch there were stains, and on the balcony, the ash tray was full of cigarette butts. It makes you question the quality of the maid service for this unit. Upon further inspection, the pull out mattress from the sofa had one of the biggest bed bugs I had ever seen (alive). Other than all of that, the room was fine.

We called the owner after we checked into our room to let her know about the AC, the door, and a loose door knob (and other things), so that we would not be charged for previous damages. At first, the owner suggested my father attempt to fix these issues himself. Hello, but we are the ones on vacation (are you kidding me?). The owner then said she was going to have her "handy-man" come down and fix it the next day. That's reasonable considering it was during the evening time. The handy man never showed up nor did the owner ever call us back to make sure things were done efficiently. My Father waited around the condo for most of the day for no one to ever show up. So the first two days of our vacation were pretty much thrown out the window.

After the vacation we contacted the owner again, and in my opinion, she didn't seem to be very concerned or remorse about our vacation. She never apologized or attempted to make things right with us.

Anyway, this room is ok, needs some updating. However, I would not recommend this condo to anyone due to the quality of the cleanliness and for the lack of support from the owner. Last visit here.

Owner's Response: I'm very sorry these guests had so many issues with the condo. They are the first guests to have these issues and I am disputing them. First of all, I spoke with his mother and explained that it was a mis-communication with my handyman. He was expecting me to call him back to let him know it was ok for him to infringe on their vacation and I thought he was just going there to fix their "issues". They never called me while they were there to tell me he didn't come - if they had, I would have taken care of it right then and there. They waited 2weeks to call me to complain. I can't fix the problem if I don't know about it She told ME her husband was handy and would look at the door, I did NOT ask him to fix it. The repairs were minor - a loose screw on the bedroom door handle, slider was hard to open - well it's an ocean front condo with salt air that corrodes metal. Again - there have been at least 20 guests prior to them and no one had an issue with anything in the condo. As far as the condo needing updating - they are ridiculous. The condo was just painted in the winter and it is in pristine condition and completely updated. Every guest has raved about the decor and all the extras we provide. I called the HOA and had the resort exterminator go to the condo. There are absolutely no bugs of any kind in the condo. If they left the slider open, something could have come in, but the condo is treated every month. There is no pleasing some guests, no matter what you do and they are one of those guests . Unfortunately we had the misfortune of renting to them. 99% of our guests are wonderful, but we always get one that is miserable No matter what you do and I guess this was our one.

Amazing View

This is the 7th year we've stayed in A306 and we absolutely love it. The view is amazing - you can see the entire coastline - I especially like the sunrise over the ocean. The condo is always well equipped and pristine - we are never disappointed

The resort is a 33 acre ocean front resort. We are very family oriented and it's a gated community, so there's 24 hour security. Enjoy the lazy river or any one of the 6 outdoor pools. We also have a kiddie pool and a kiddie water park. There are BBQ grills throughout the resort for your cooking pleasure ! The resort also has jacuzzies and saunas ! There's an ocean front bar and grill, a sandwich shop and snack bars throughout the resort. There are laudry facilities on each floor - only a few doors down from our condo.
