Also, a veggie steamer and brown rice cooker. A 32” flat screen TV for your watching pleasure along with a DVD/CD and AM/FM Stereo system. Very nice

Overall our stay was great. There was issue with a few other residents cooking steaks on the grill located outside the bedroom window, after dark, and the smoke and burnt fat smell permeating the whole place for a few hours. Maui is nice

Owner's Response: WOW, that's a first. Smoke and fat smell in the apartment, never before has that happened. The grill is at least 75 feet from the apartment and only the bedroom small jalousies windows face the BBQ area. For there to be smoke in the apartment through those small windows, there must of been a fire on the grill. If the bedroom windows were closed, there would be no way the smoke could get throughout the apartment, as the rest of the apartment faces out towards the pool. I'm sure the grill fire was dealt with in a timely manner by the security. I hope situation didn't spoil your stay.

Maui Vista Unit 2102

My partner and I stayed in Unit 2102 for three weeks. We were very pleased with the unit and the amenities provided. The ground floor lanai offers double the space of the units above and is steps from the pool and the bbq. It was extremely convenient. Charley Young beach is just across the road from the complex and shopping and restaurants are within easy walking distance.The only thing I would improve is the mattress. I found it quite hard, but hey, I have older bones so maybe it's just me. We would definitely rent here again. Thanks Eve!

Owner's Response: Thank you Ann for you r nice review. So glad that you both enjoyed Maui Vista 2102. The mattress is a item of discussion. Some people don't mention it, other's do. I don't think it's the mattress I think it's because it's not on a box spring. The bed frame is the type that doesn't require a bed spring. The mattress lays flat on a wooden platform so there is no give like there is with a box spring. However, the mattress will be replaced the begging of June, when there is a break in reservations. quiet and relaxing stay

this unit is ground floor so the outside space is larger, more tropical and very peaceful. The atmosphere here was wonderful....I enjoyed stepping out of the slider door in bare feet and walking around enjoying the visiting birds and geckos. There was everything we needed for cooking our own meals. All cleaning and paper products were provided including the coffee filters; which was great. Furniture in condo needs upgraded though and the bed was hard as a rock.

Owner's Response: Hello Ginger: Thank you for your review, even though you mentioned to me in an email that you weren't going to write one. We did discuss the 'hard mattress' and I told you that no one else has mentioned to me about the mattress being hard. However, I did say that I'll be going to Maui in May and will check on the mattress, and if I find it too hard, will rectify the situation. Also, you never mentioned that you thought the furniture to be 'outdated'. The dressers, bed stands and bed frame were all replaced last May. The photo's on the website have to be updated as they don't reflect the new bedroom furniture. Nevertheless, I'm glad you and your friend, enjoyed yourselves, and thank you for your review and for choosing Maui Vista. Aloha, Eve Robinson
