Beautiful private 2 story home (2100 sq ft)located right across the street from Brennecke's Beach, next to Poipu Beach. This home is perfect for a Hawaiian vacation. Wake up to a beautiful sunrise, step out your door, and right into the warm ocean. Brennecke's Beach is excellent for boogie boarding, swimming, and getting a perfect sun tan. Poipu Beach, rated #1 beach in America is just steps away. Also there is a surf shop and deli/mini-mart(which comes in handy when you just need a few items)within walking distance from your home. The surf shop rents snorkel gear, boogie boards, and surfboards, and the deli offers shave ice, which hits the spot on a hot day. Poipu Beach is a very family friendly beach, with a playground and sheltered bay for the kids to swim in. Also nearby there is excellent snorkeling and surf for the more experienced beach goer. We've rented this house numerous times ( we travel to Kauai every year and have for 15 years). It is BY FAR the best location with the most space on the South Shore. The A/C in the downstairs bedroom is perfect for those who like to sleep in extremely cool temps, and the house layout is great for multiple families or families with teenagers to enjoy. We LOVE Kua Nalu and will continue to rent for years to come.
Our family of 8 had an exceptional 10 day vacation at this home and can't wait to do it again! I can't think of another place where we could walk in a couple of minutes and see Monk seals, Turtles, Manta Rays, Moray eels and all of the tide-pool and snorkeling sea-life that Poipu has to offer. Not to mention excellent hikes, jogging, surfing and body-boarding spots within walking distance. Everything in the home worked well, including the downstairs room with air-conditioning. So thankful we found this home and we look forward to staying there again next year!
We had a wonderful stay at this very well equipped home. It was perfect for our extended family, and there are beaches within walking distance for everyone to enjoy - the grown ups who like waves, and the kids who like the Poipu baby beach. We highly recommend this home, it is comfortable, convenient, and has a great yard to play in too. We will be coming back!
It was great staying here. When I need to escape the Winter, this house is my a real oasis.
This is such a wonderful home! It is the perfect location for families, we had a blast. There is a small baby beach within walking distance along with a little bay where you can snorkel. It is also super close to restaurants and shops. There is even a place within walking distance to get a shave ice and a drink! The house is fabulous and the manager couldn't have been more helpful. The house is well maintained and has a large kitchen / dining area with the best view around! We can't wait to come back :)
We booked this place, mainly for its excellent location and proximity to baby beach. Buy we enjoyed our stay even more than expected and the house was better than it looks in photos. We had six adults and a 1 year old and had ample room. I had a lot of questions mainly due to traveling with a little one and Vicky was super helpful in answering right away. We were worried it may be a little hot upstairs without air conditioning but the breeze was great and it wasn't a problem at all. We loved eating dinner on the upper deck and watching the ocean waves and beach goers. Would stay again if we returned.
