pine cone cabin on Litle St Germain Lake

  • 5 of 5

This small modern cabin was perfect for the two of us and our dog. I loved the tall windows overlookling the lake, so that the main room was very open. Staying slightly passed the summer season, we had the property to ourselves because the larger cabin was not rented. This gave us a large open side yard as well as the front yard. Modern kitchen. Ensuite bath. Screened porch. Highly recommend.

Exceptional "cabin" in the woods

  • 5 of 5

We stayed a full week last October in this exceptionally clean, like new, cabin in the woods. It's a long (or what feels like long but is only a half mile or so) drive down a one-lane dirt road to reach the cabin -- and worth every minute. Upon my arrival I found a nice welcome sign and once inside a note welcoming me. It also mentioned the thermostat was not operating (the heat worked though) and someone would be out to take a look at it. As promised a nice man came out the following day and all was repaired. Well maintained.

The cabin is VERY well maintained, comfortable beds and furniture. The master has one queen and the second bedroom has one double and a twin. The master bath is roll-in accessible. Not a fan of the shower curtain and the water that seems to get everywhere due to the roll-in. Opted for the main bath's shower. Sheets are provided, towels are not. Which was well explained prior to my arrival. The kitchen is well-stocked with cookware, utensils and cleaning supplies. I opted to bring my own Keurig (I'd say that is the ONLY thing missing -- Judy let me know if you get one!). The fireplace in the living room is beautiful and it's a nice touch to have plenty of wood and kindling right inside and just steps away on the screened in porch. The view is nice, the pier accessible and the sounds of nature simply perfect. We'll be back. In fact, I've already made our reservation. Counting the days!

5 star Cabin!

  • 5 of 5

We spent a week over Labor Day and were so impressed by this cabin!

Very clean and well maintained. The fishing, golfing, and biking were great.

Saw eagles, wild turkeys and deer.

We love the fact that we can bring our dogs along.

We are already on the books for 2015 and can't wait to go back.
