A new home (not a remodel) completed during the fall of 2009! This home is bright, modern, and clean. Its balconies and french doors offer Southern California's open-air beach lifestyle.

Located in the heart of 'The Village', this home is within walking distance of everything Coronado has to offer. We are 3 blocks to the award winning Coronado City Beach; 3 blocks to Orange Avenue and it's restaurants, bistros and shopping; 3 blocks to the library, park and grocery stores; and 2 blocks to the Brian Bent Memorial Aquatics Complex.

We are just far enough from busy areas to make for a peaceful vacation, yet close enough for convenient access.

Great house -- great deal!

What a wonderful place to stay -- and at a great price!

My family rented this house for a week. The location was perfect -- even my young children could walk to the beach from here, and to Orange Avenue where we enjoyed the lovely park and restaurants.

The attic bedroom is quite large, as is the master. The first-floor bedroom is also a good size. All the bathrooms are very nice. The kitchen was great -- my kids loved to eat breakfast at the bar, and we were comfortable at the table for dinner. The kitchen is well-equipped with quality appliances and lots of pots and pans, a coffeemaker, etc. WiFi worked well, as did the fireplace and the grill. We enjoyed opening the balcony doors to catch the breeze in this light and airy home.

Lastly, but definitely not least -- what a deal! This was the lowest-priced three-bedroom home we found on Coronado -- so we were thrilled with the excellent location and how quiet and clean it was. We highly recommend this home -- we certainly plan to return!

Even better than expected

"Upon arrival for our week long stay we found that the property was split into two with the house being the rear property. This worked out great as the house was quiet with a nice patio area with grill. When we entered we were immediately blown away by how nice and new everything was. The downstairs room had its own bath with attached laundry area with new Neptune Washer/Drier (which got good use). Also the garage was accessable from this area with lots of beach toys (the boogie boards were a blast) and three nice bikes (my niece and I took a long bike ride one of the days). Upstairs the valted ceilings were a welcome surprise and the sitting, dining, and kitchen were immaculate and so new. The kitchen appliances were top notch (we got good use of it saving lots of money over eating out all the time). The second bath off the hall was nice. The master off the back of this floor was large with a great walk in closet and a wonderful bath with a giant shower. Upstairs was a nice bonus room with twin beds (perfect for my 11 and 16 year old nieces).

As for location we could not have been happier. a nice walk down G Ave to the beach and a easy walk up 9th Ave to Von's and all of the restaurants and shops on Orange Ave. The location was so good that other than a few times during the week we did not use the car. We did venture to Sea World one day and the drive was less than a half hour.

The neighborhood is very family friendly with Whiskers the cat there to welcome you from the porch of the front house and Ella the lab nextdoor hanging in the front yard.

All in all our stay exceed expectations and we were sorry to have it end. We recommend to anyone looking for a rental home on Coronado Island."

Perfect Coronado rental property!

This is the perfect Coronado property, far exceeding our expectations. The new construction and all of the upgrades made if very comfortable. We found details, furnishings and extra personal touches not normally found in rental properties. We appreciated the fact that it was super clean. The location is an easy walk to Vons, Orange Ave. and the beach. We put our car in the garage and never needed it. The location is just close enough to the beach and commercial areas and just far enough away so that you can enjoy the peace and quiet. Having bicycles provided on property was a bonus. We loved it; we would stay there again and again and again and recommend it to friends

There are 3 bedrooms, 3 full baths, 3 balconies, and a patio. The house has hardwood floors and granite countertops throughout. It also has air conditioning and central heat. Everything is new and clean! The Master suite, located on the main level, has a King-sized Sleep Number bed, walk-in closet, and a work area complete with a 23' flat screen, speakers w/sub, and bluetooth keyboard and mouse: just bring your laptop. There is also a 37' LCD TV and DVD player. The master bathroom has a walk-in tile shower. In addition, there is a full balcony with bistro chairs and table, a perfect place enjoy a quiet coffee and the morning sun. The second bedroom, located on the first floor, has a California king bed, work area, and french doors that open onto the patio. It also has its own full bath with shower and tub. On the same level there is a full laundry room with a new Maytag Duet washer and dryer. The third bedroom is located on the top floor and has twin bed, a queen bed, a desk, TV/VCR , most of the Disney movies and lots of open space for kids to play. The third floor also has a balcony with views of the San Diego skyline. There is a fully equipped eat-in gourmet kitchen with Jennair and Bosch appliances. The counter easily seats 3 and the dining area seats 6. The living room has vaulted ceilings, gas fireplace, new leather furniture, 52' LCD TV, DVD player, and IPod dock with speakers and sub. There are also french doors out to a balcony with a gas barbecue that overlooks the patio area. Also provided are: 6 bicycles (two mens, four tween/womens), children's beach toys, boogie boards, beach towels, umbrella, and 6 beach chairs. The home also includes wireless high speed internet access. All Linens including beach towels are provided. There is also a folding crib, booster seat, baby gate. This is a free standing house, but it is a rear home with its own seperate entrance and tandem garage. Any special requests? Just ask.
