Our Galleon Bay condominium (Rm. 208) are located at 4901 W. Laguna st. on the bay front at South Padre Island, TX.. Five to six minute walk to a beach access, and to several restaurants and bars in either direction. No pets are allowed in unit and or complex. Built in 1986, extensively remodeled in 2010. Living area features large sofa sleeper and cable tv. Dining area features a dining table for four persons and the bar area adjacent to the kitchen. Kitchen feature a full size refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher and a complete set of everything necessary to create meals. Master bedroom has complete furnishings and a queen size bed with comfortable bedding,cable tv and large closets. Second bedroom has four twin size beds with comfortable bedding, cable tv, and large closets.

Fishing off the pier is very good at night or head out for a great day of fishing in your own boat - parked in our common boat slips. If you are bringing your boat, please request the Galleon Bay boat rules and registration form, if you do not have a confirmed boat slip, you cannot use any boat slips. This should be done when condo is reserved. Completed boat rules and registration form must be emailed or faxed. The Galleon Bay manager will get back to you to confirm; or notify if all boat slips are taken. They are done on a first come first serve basis upon reservation.

Info that needs to be included: Dates requested, Condo #, Guest's name, Guest's cell phone #, Boat Description, License # from boat trailer.

Boat launch is located on Polaris St. three blocks north of Galleon Bay.During March,

Galleon Bay issues (6) wristbands. If lost replacement wristband is $10.00.

During March and Texas Week Spring Break, Galleon Bay charges a onetime $25.00 security bracelet fee for every occupant, which is paid directly to Galleon Bay's property manager at check in.

It was nice

The condo was nice but the wall plug in the master bathroom wouldn't work. The bedrooms were hot and had very little lighting and the tv in the master bedroom never worked and I did report this to the management team and they never sent anyone out to check these things out. Besides that we did have lots of fun and the place was clean.

Great bayside location

Great value spot on the bay. We've stayed at Galleon Bay a few times and really like this unit. Being on the second floor is convenient compared to being up higher. Yes, you sacrifice the view a little bit but for me it's worth not having to worry about the elevator or taking a bunch of stairs. The unit itself was clean with nice, functional furnishings. My family doesn't spend much time inside when we're in SPI, but when we did, we enjoyed the nice new television in the family room. The wifi worked well and the cable was also good. I always worry about the AC in the summer in condos, it was ice cold when we wanted it to be. I had to turn it down on a few occasions because it was too cold. The washer and dryer worked fine and the bathrooms are clean with updated tiling. I would recommend to bring your own towels and garbage bags. The kitchen is functional with a clean fridge and plenty of counter space. There's a nice dining table with bench seats that works well. The property has a nice pool, boat docks, barbecue pits that offer a lot of entertainment value. It was catfish city as far as the fishing went at night, but I imagine it's better at times. The beach is a short walk across the island away and you can always drive over and find parking pretty close. I personally enjoy staying on the bay better than the beach or mid island because the sunsets are awesome and you have the docks. Viviana and Robert were easy to work with and responsive. I will definitely be back to stay in this unit, can't wait until next summer!
