About Rachel Quigley
Bill is a life-long resident of Oregon, enjoying the Oregon Coast and Seaside since his childhood. Now retired, trips to Seaside are more frequent. Rachel is a real estate agent in Portland, never tiring of viewing homes and is addicted to HGTV and decorating blogs. Originally raised in England Rachel appreciates the name 'Seaside' since she always went to 'the seaside', which is a substitute word for coast.
Rachel Quigley purchased this house in 2005
Why Rachel Quigley chose Coastal Oregon
We love Seaside. When we purchased this property it was very run down, but I immediately saw the charm and the potential in this old home.. All houses are a work in progress, but we strive to make it a comfortable home away from home, bringing in bright decorating colors to chase away the cloudy days and cozy cottage decor.

This was the second time we stayed here and enjoyed the home as much as the first.
Nicely stocked home with all the amenities. Short jaunt to the boardwalk and the beach.
Cozy and inviting, the perfect thing.
We enjoyed this cottage during the winter for ten days and almost immediately it felt like home. (NB: the Oregon coast in winter is awesome). We had a comfortable bed with plenty of pillows and blankets, a beautifully appointed kitchen, living room with faux fireplace and welcoming couches. Rachel has thought of everything you might need, and I mean everything. Plus, should you need anything, the maintenance person for the property lives across the street. On arrival day I was late, and he thought to go over and turn on the porch light for me. There's also an upstairs, with sitting room and a dorm with more beds, but we didn't need it.
Loved this cozy cottage!
This cottage was adorable! A quick walk to downtown and the beach, fully stocked with everything we needed, comfortable and spacious (plus the kids loved the upstairs). We had a small issue and appreciated that the owners were all over making it right as quickly as possible. We will definitely stay here again!
The location and amenities were perfect for out stay. A really lovely and comfortable home mere blocks from the beach. We would very much look forward to staying here again.
Perfect Cozy Cottage!
I stayed in the Cozy Cottage this past weekend with 3 friends and we all loved it! Perfect size! Perfect location! All of us want to bring our families back to Seaside to stay in the Cozy Cottage. We didn't have any problems. The amenities were great. Thank you for having bikes to use, (luckily one of us opted for a nap), so there were enough. Location is great to explore, Astoria, and Cannon Beach. I would recommend this place to everyone! Thank you for helping us have a perfect getaway!
Thank you for allowing us to stay at your "cute, cozy, cottage"! it was perfect! Had everything we needed to make our girls getaway perfect. The beach was super close (within walking distance) and all the amenities provided at the house were appreciated. You really have thought of everything to make your guests stay perfect! Thank you again. Will definitely be coming back.
