Very comfortable and homey

  • 5 of 5

We loved this vacation home. We were very comfortable and relaxed here. The owner provided everything we needed, including a well stocked kitchen with nice dishes, silverware and even spices. The patio is a great place to sit to view the sunset over the ocean & to hear the sea lions in the distance. The golf course has an amazing view and room to walk on the side of the course. The king size bed is comfortable. We felt very welcome at this home and hope to return soon.

Amazing Stay!!! A lovely & peaceful home away from home!!!

  • 5 of 5

If we could give more than 5 stars we would. Thanks Michelle and team for making it an absolute amazing stay. The home was super clean and we appreciate that Michelle's housekeeper had it so perfect and well stocked when we arrived. Our vacation was 10 lovely days with a mix of exploring the area and spending time relaxing. It was my husband and I and our 2 pups, 12 lb chihuahua mixes that love to travel with us. We really enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, it was so well stocked with any secondary appliances needed, wine glasses, plate ware, Le Crueset ware, we loved the colorful plate ware from various countries, vases for our fresh flowers, pretty colorful bowls and pottery. The decor was eclectic and zen, we love nature and this home was very connected to nature and carried a lovely peaceful feeling through out. If you want to feel a sense of calm during your stay this is the place. The master bathroom vanity was large enough for 2, (even though it has 2 bathrooms). Plenty of room on each side of the vanity for our toiletries Having a washer and dryer was great to do laundry during our stay. The master bed was extremely comfortable, we slept so well.Plenty of bath, kitchen towels and additional linens. We loved the private fenced yard for our dogs to go potty first thing in the morning before coffee on the deck off the extremely comfortable living room and then off to our walk in the quiet neighborhood or behind the house in the wooded area and golf course. Views of the rock and bay and sunsets from the house were stunning. We love the area of Morro Bay, Cambria, SLO to explore the beach and the mountain trails. Loved the quaint galleries & zen shops for shopping in the lovely nearby towns and love the Blue Sky Bistro in Morro Bay for dinners and great wine on the Bay with breathtaking views of the rock. If you are looking for unique gifts be sure to visit Suite 1 gallery which is steps from Blue Sky Bistro in Morro Bay. There is an Albertsons with a Starbucks down the street. We loved this house as it by far exceeded our expectations from booking process to checkout. Michelle is lovely & just a phone call away, although we didn't need anything during our stay as it is so well maintained. If you are looking for a lovely home to relax and call home during your time in Morro Bay this is definitely the one! I could go on and on but I have no more writing characters left ha!

Wonderful wonderful! Thanks so much Michelle! xoxo

Perfect for Toddler and Dog!

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. Michelle, the owner, is just fantastic to work with; very responsive and always a call or text away.

We spent three nights here and were the most comfortable we have ever been anywhere on vacation. Our party consisted of me, my wife, our 22 month old son and well-behaved Golden Retriever. With a little one in tow who spends a lot of time on and close to the floor, we're pretty particular about cleanliness and this property was virtually spotless - and I think that is the single most important thing to me wherever I stay! We've stayed in hotels where you find your white socks turn dark from just walking about the room... not so here. Clean, clean, clean and I loved it! Especially important to me are clean bathrooms and both bathrooms were SPOTLESS!

The house is truly stocked with anything and everything you would ever need for your stay. The kitchen is fully equipped. We bought groceries at the nearby Albertsons and my wife cooked breakfast each morning. That was a treat for all of us sitting at the table looking out at the ocean while eating.

The house was easy enough to "baby proof" for our little one as the house is a single level. We parked at the top of the drive near street level so there was never any need to access the staircase from the lower drive up to the front porch and door. The steps from the view deck at the back were easily blocked with the barbecue. We always bring electric outlet covers for any accessible outlets. Of course there are decorative items around that kids could easily knock over or break... but we watch our boy closely and he knows what the word "no" means. Interestingly, so does the dog. :-)

Michelle allows well-behaved dogs to stay and we're grateful for that. Our golden girl is a spoiled princess and she has never rested well on vacation. She did so here with virtually no adjustment; it was as if she felt we were staying in our own home! Really, the house was that comfortable!

The location is fantastic and we really liked the neighborhood. My wife had a lovely chat with the nice woman who lived next door; very welcoming. It was really like we were spending a long weekend at our very own beach house... chatting with old friends, etc.

We definitely look forward to returning on a regular basis so long as Michelle makes her home available! We love the Central Coast, particularly Morro Bay, and feel lucky to have found this place!
