Amazing Stay!!! A lovely & peaceful home away from home!!!

  • 5 of 5

If we could give more than 5 stars we would. Thanks Michelle and team for making it an absolute amazing stay. The home was super clean and we appreciate that Michelle's housekeeper had it so perfect and well stocked when we arrived. Our vacation was 10 lovely days with a mix of exploring the area and spending time relaxing. It was my husband and I and our 2 pups, 12 lb chihuahua mixes that love to travel with us. We really enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, it was so well stocked with any secondary appliances needed, wine glasses, plate ware, Le Crueset ware, we loved the colorful plate ware from various countries, vases for our fresh flowers, pretty colorful bowls and pottery. The decor was eclectic and zen, we love nature and this home was very connected to nature and carried a lovely peaceful feeling through out. If you want to feel a sense of calm during your stay this is the place. The master bathroom vanity was large enough for 2, (even though it has 2 bathrooms). Plenty of room on each side of the vanity for our toiletries Having a washer and dryer was great to do laundry during our stay. The master bed was extremely comfortable, we slept so well.Plenty of bath, kitchen towels and additional linens. We loved the private fenced yard for our dogs to go potty first thing in the morning before coffee on the deck off the extremely comfortable living room and then off to our walk in the quiet neighborhood or behind the house in the wooded area and golf course. Views of the rock and bay and sunsets from the house were stunning. We love the area of Morro Bay, Cambria, SLO to explore the beach and the mountain trails. Loved the quaint galleries & zen shops for shopping in the lovely nearby towns and love the Blue Sky Bistro in Morro Bay for dinners and great wine on the Bay with breathtaking views of the rock. If you are looking for unique gifts be sure to visit Suite 1 gallery which is steps from Blue Sky Bistro in Morro Bay. There is an Albertsons with a Starbucks down the street. We loved this house as it by far exceeded our expectations from booking process to checkout. Michelle is lovely & just a phone call away, although we didn't need anything during our stay as it is so well maintained. If you are looking for a lovely home to relax and call home during your time in Morro Bay this is definitely the one! I could go on and on but I have no more writing characters left ha!

Wonderful wonderful! Thanks so much Michelle! xoxo

Clean, quiet, comfortable, with all amenities needed.

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed for several nights. The home is artistically decorated and has an ocean view from high in Morro heights. There is a small deck in the back facing west, one can see part of Morro rock (the rest is obscured by a tree) and the waves crashing beyond the bay. It is three houses from the golf course (must drive to get to front entrance) and steps from a great hiking trail that leads to expansive views from Los Osos to Cayucos. Off the front bedroom, there is an enclosed patio where one may enjoy the morning sun while eating breakfast. There is a telescope and binoculars for viewing the sky, the ocean, the birds, etc.

The house has great ventilation, the beds are comfortable, and there is plenty of closet space. The kitchen is fully stocked - everything one needs to make great meals or simply heat leftovers. Appliances are in excellent condition.

The heights are a bike ride or drive away from the Embarcadero, restaurants, shops, boat rides, and more and offers an "escape route" for those who want to avoid the hustle and bustle of downtown Morro Bay.

The pictures do not do this home justice!

Everything you need

  • 5 of 5

The house is as described and the reviews back it up. The home, "is a home away from home". The home has all your sleeping, and kitchen needs. It is minutes drive to the beach and there are trails that are walk-able from the home. Wonderful view of the ocean and Morro Rock. The neighbors were all very nice and the area is very dog friendly. We did not bring our dog on this trip but will have to in the future. The best part of the home is the responsiveness of Michelle. She was very prompt in her responses and very informative every step of the way.

Felt like home

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights with our adult daughter. Two large bedrooms, two bathrooms, a completely outfitted kitchen and a large open area with multiple sitting areas and a dining table in front of large picture windows with a view of the bay. There is a deck with a view of the bay and a more private patio off the master. The home is very clean and wonderfully decorated. The home was very comfortable. About a mile and a half walk down to the bay. We found the walk to be a great way to start our day. Would love to return again when I’m in Morro Bay.

Beautifully clean and well equipped residence.

  • 5 of 5

The view-the view! Deck from living room gives a lovely Pacific and partial Rock view.

The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking all your meals-could have used a knife sharpener, but all cookware and utensils high quality and convenient.

We slept well- beds, blankets and pillows just right.

We hope to spend next T-giving week there again.
