Perfect get-a-way!

  • 5 of 5

The flat at 49 Palmetto was perfect for our three day get-a-way. The flat is comfortable, perfectly appointed and within walking distance to beautiful Apalachicola! We had coffee and breakfast each day before heading out to explore shopping, restaurants and the beautiful waterfront. We will definitely return! Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us!

Winter Retreat

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Palmetto 49. It was beautifully decorated (important to her) as well as extremely comfortable (important to me). We did not have any problems but we ran into the owner several times and she was very gracious and charming. It's a remodeled attic with businesses on the first floor so it's extremely quiet at night, but about the only thing we heard in the daytime was the owner's daughter's after school piano practice which we thought was delightful. The best thing is the location. We were able to walk to all of the shops, restaurants, the farmers market, the harbor, pier, galleries, library, waterfront, bars, a grocery store and especially the old historic neighborhoods of this amazingly beautiful town. We will stay again.
