Peaceful Retreat

  • 5 of 5

We spent the weekend at Creek View Cabin to celebrate my husband's birthday. We wanted a quiet place to relax. We slept like babies with the sounds of the creek in the background. The cabin was clean and it provided all we needed. It even had a first aid kit. The views are very beautiful as well. Bill came to welcome us and to see if we needed anything. Very nice.

We would recommend this cabin if you are looking to recharge your spirit.

Beautiful area. Lots of things to see. Sitting on the porch listening to the running creek was a special treat.

Soothing River Sounds

  • 5 of 5

Property was in a lovely location next to a clean, strong flowing creek and we left the windows open all 5 days. It was slightly rustic, which was apropos for the location. It had everything that we needed for a relaxing vacation away from cities, people and noise. Great fire pit with plenty of wood outside. We could not figure out the gas fireplace that was inside. Hot Springs NC is an interesting little mountain town on the French Broad River. It has charm and is 25 minutes away. Asheville is about an hour away.

Not a bad cabin just not very clean

  • 2 of 5

Cabin is not bad but it really needs a good cleaning top to bottom. Floors stove refrigerator everything needs cleaning. Bathrooms need cleaned and updated. Nice location!

Owner's Response: My wife and I spend a couple of hours cleaning the cabin after each guest leaves. It includes vacuuming, washing the sheets and towels as well as wiping all the surfaces so I am very surprised at this review.
