Had An Awesome Time!!
This home has everything you need, well stocked. The owners very easy and very accommodating. The real review, would I stay again? Heck yes!!!
We loved it!
It had everything we needed and then some! Very comfortable, home beds and couch were a bit rough but other than that it was perfect.
Beautiful home and area. Decorated beautifully. Beds were terrible, hard as a rick.
Besides the discomfort of the beds, it was a 10.
Sorry for your mattress experience. There's nothing like your own home bed's comfort. All of our bed's are quality brand & firm which is the standard in travel & hospitality industry. In our ten year's of ownership and 143 reviews we have never had a complaint about our mattresses nor received a 3 (three) rating from a guest. We apologize but sincerely appreciate your caveat comment that other than the hard mattress, you had a 10 (ten) rating experience...that's always our goal. Please come again and we will provide a foam topper.
Absolutely awesome! If you are looking for something that offers simple elegance this is it!
Trying to accommodate 10 people with varying interests is always a challenge. Casa Buena Vista offered something for everyone! A beautiful golf course neighborhood safe for morning walks; the deer were an added bonus! Decks/patios looked out over the hillside and were perfect anytime of the day. Far enough out of town to feel secluded but close enough for bar hopping, shopping and dining out. Ruidoso gave us the opportunity for day trips to White Sands National Monument, Lincoln (Lincoln County Wars!), Smoky the Bear Visitors Center (Only YOU can Prevent Forest Fires!), Cloudcroft and the Space Muesum in Alamogordo. We even had a group who went up to Ski Apache for a zip line/gondola experience! The beauty: not everything appealed to everyone so we divided and conquered! Convening at the end of the day with cocktails on the patio, sharing the highlights of the day as the sunset behind the mountains reminded us of how special our friendships are.
Our greatest gratitude to the owners and management of this delightful home. It was comfortable, clean and offered us a wonderful respite from daily life.
I believe I speak for the group in highly recommending this house to families and friends who are looking for an experience you won’t soon forget.
Thank you for a fabulous vacation.
You could not have expressed any better our love for the history of the area....Ruidoso, Lincoln County, the Sacramento Mountains and the Land of Enchantment, New Mexico. From the moment we discovered this area while in college (Texas Tech) - 1960's, we have been drawn back year after year. Ruidoso has something for everyone and is steeped in western history of the southwest with plenty of activities and destinations for families or friends of all ages. Never to be bored here, but if you just want a homebase to chill out and take in the local wildlife and experience simple solitude, this is the place. Thanks for finding us. Come back again. Beautiful home and wonderful views! Absolutely loved the deers!
A-w-w-w-w-e Y-e-s! The deer. They come around like clock work to visit our guests. Thanks for staying with us sharing the joy of our deck views and wildlife of the Lincoln National Forest. New Mexico is absolutely the Land of Enchantment! Come again. The Gaspard's
Outstanding lodging option in Ruidoso
The Gaspards' Casa Buena Vista just might be the ultimate family lodging option in Ruidoso. We loved our stay at this wonderful house. There is so much room to roam and plenty of baths to accommodate all at any given time. Three level house with adjoining decks to each level with fantastic views from each. The downstairs level includes a large game room with pool table, card table, Foosball table, dartboard, and, of course, a bar for mixing and dispensing drinks. A sauna is also found on the lower level floor. Outside on the lower level deck is an ample size hot tub that fires up fast for relaxing soakings. Dinah and Jim Gaspard have decorated all of the rooms with colorful and interesting collectibles of all forms of art and depictions of the Southwest countryside, history, and lifestyle. A well stocked kitchen is included. Great location that is close to everything that Ruidoso has to offer.
We loved our stay and highly recommend this property to anyone considering a vacation rental in the Ruidoso area.
Thanks to the extended Bones family for selecting our mountan home as their homebase for their family reunion. Like our own family of all ages, there is something to enjoy for everyone, whether its entertainment or surrounding yourself with pure mountain air and spectacular views from our eagles nest deck. Come again soon. The Gaspard's
