Direct Oceanfront 3 BR Condo with King, Wi-Fi, and Elevator!

Beautiful oceanfront condo with great Atlantic Ocean views. All one level inside, with elevator and/or the stairwell to get up one level to the unit (parking is underneath on the ground level). A perfect day would be the playing on the beach, a little pool time, nap time, and then sit on the screened deck watching the sunset. And I named it "Sweet Beach Music" which you may see on the emails.


New in 2016:

- New sofa in living room

- New queen-sized mattress and box springs in second bedroom


Bring your own beach towels, but I have the other linens. We have a washer-dryer in the unit; but please bring your detergent and dryer sheets. You may use the beach chairs (in the laundry room); but please rinse the sand off at the shower by the walkway to/from the beach.


The kitchen is fully stocked, and you can use the charcoal grills located by the parking lot to cook a fantastic dinner while you are there - steaks and/or seafood on the grill? Or how about just hamburgers and hot dogs? I have included a picture of the grill area for our building. There are also some good restaurants nearby.


Like most of the condos on this beach, the cell phone connection is sketchy inside the unit. You might have to walk out on the parking lot side to get a connection. Or just step into the first bedroom, by the entrance and you should be able to get a call.


Check-in is at 4 p.m.; check-out at 10 a.m. Ask me in advance if you need earlier or later.

This complex is near Pine Knoll Shores, which was recently advertised in Coastal Living! You can watch the dolphins and even the kite surfers from the deck of the condo or the gazebo! There is also a day dock on the sound side across the street, by the overflow parking lot and boat storage area.

Parking passes (3) provided for your stay - there is no assigned parking. Parking is not assigned (see the picture of the parking area just below my unit). You can park either under the building or in the parking lot. One of the parking passes is to the overflow parking area and boat storage area. Yes, you can bring your boat (just let me know in advance). There is also a shower by the walkway so you can rinse off on your way back in from the beach.

No smoking and no pets! Sorry, the Homeowners Association guidelines say that renters and/or guests are not allowed to bring pets.

Saturday to Saturday rentals, unless otherwise agreed upon. Just ask, and I will work with you. Especially off-season!

Golf - Call Country Club of the Crystal Coast (CCCC) for rates, starting at $45 for 18 holes. And it's only about 2 1/2 miles from the condo.

Can you put a tent on the beach? Small tents/canopies are allowed on our beaches, provided they are properly secured (tents over 200 ft & canopies over 400 ft need a permit). However, we strongly recommend that these structures are not left up overnight. Objects left on the beach overnight may interfere with nesting sea turtles and their hatchlings, and they also have a tendency to go missing when they are left unattended. In order to keep your visit safe and enjoyable, we suggest that any structures be removed from the beach at night.

Security deposit of $200 (refundable after departure cleaning).

Monthly rates will have two cleanings - one in the middle, and one at the end.

This unit is privately owned. The homeowners are NOT responsible for ANY accidents, injuries, or illnesses that occur to the renter(s), or any guests or visitors of the renter(s), while in the unit, on the premises, or while using any community facilities. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or of any harm to others whom they invite to use the premises.

The condo was immaculate when we arrived with a well stocked kitchen. Beach access was easy and convenient. The view is incredible. We enjoyed our morning and evening walks along the beach. The condo is a short drive to Beaufort which is a beautiful seaside community. You cannot go wrong staying here. It is a sweet retreat.

Close to the ocean. Far from luxurious.

I was very excited about staying at this property due to the great reviews on VRBO. Indeed, this condo has a fantastic ocean view, however, it also has a great view of the public walkway out to the beach. You can expect strangers walking back and forth, unavoidably gazing at you as they come on and off the beach while you try to relax on the screened in porch. So if you are in search of privacy, this isn't the place for you.

The pool is nice and it is a short walk to the beach from the condo or the pool. Having an elevator and parking under the building was also convenient.

The condo has everything you need and a decent layout, but it is in need of updating, especially the appliances. Additionally, the bedding is old and dingy and is in dire need of a good washing or perhaps replacing. There are floor oscillating fans in the bedrooms but the rooms are all pretty warm and stuffy even with the AC and fans on. The toys and beach chairs provided were coated with sand when we arrived and so were not even used.

Based on the reviews I read, I was a little disappointed with the accommodations and probably would not stay here again myself. I will say though that Jenny was very responsive to emails and flexible as to our check in and out time.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your feedback. I will say that we try to update and replace some items each year, and added the fans for those hot summer months. This year will be the year for the bedding. I always ask each guest to rinse the chairs and beach toys after their use, but unfortunately some guests don't take the time to do it.

Family vacation 2016

We made some wonderful memories here. Loved the easy beach access. The elevator was a plus! Loved visiting Beaufort, Sand Dollar Island, and Cape Lookout. My only suggestion would be some crab crackers. We purchased some seafood from a local market and had no crab crackers. Overall a wonderful experience. I would return in a heartbeat! Thank you for sharing your lovely home!

Amazing property!

Thank you, Jenny, for getting back to me almost instantly from our first conversation to the day we arrived. Everything was perfect! Plenty of room for all of us, tons of toys for the beach, used the beach chairs almost daily. After the busy holiday weekend the beach was almost deserted and we felt as if it was our own private resort. We built sand castles, toured nearby towns, museums, the aquarium. Grocery store was only a very short drive away, such a convenient location! I can't say enough about Jenny and how quickly she got back to me with every question I had. We especially loved the beach decor in every room, and the 2 decks with the amazing views. What a pleasure this has been. I couldn't have been happier, and would reserve this unit in a heartbeat again. Don't bother searching for the perfect beach home, this is it!
