I love it!!! The Best Experience

  • 4 of 5

This place is fantastic, the surrounding is excellent to walk, for kids to play, to take ver nice pictures. The space of the cabin is much more bigger that our Family expected, and it has pretty much all you need. For the ones that like hiking, our family went to see waterfalls which is like 5 min driving and 45 min walking. The mountain view from the cabin is awesome and almost everything was clean. I would definitely recommend other families to go to this place, we are looking to go back on summer time. Be prepared to drive about 20 minutes in the mountains from the Burnsville town and once you get to the cabin the driveway is kind of steep. But nothing to worry about.....

I would give a 5 starts only if few thing would be in a better way.

Areas for improvement, I would say do a better dust cleaning and update the phone numbers/Information from the binder. Thank you very much for this nice experience !!!

Beautiful and comfortable

  • 5 of 5

We used this house to gather three different families for Thanksgiving. My parents, my sister’s family and our family. The kids ages ranged from 2 years old to several in college. We had plenty of space to set up tables for over 20 people eating. (Of course all these people didn’t stay at the cabin two other families rent their own place). At night the older kids sat outside by the fire and the younger kids watched Christmas movies downstairs, while the adults could watch their shows upstairs. The house had the perfect lay out. The only issue we had was the driveway. We have 5 small kids and have to travel with a small enclosed trailer for our luggage. The driveway is very steep (but it is in the mountains) our 4 wheel drive expedition slid on the driveway. Also, the checkout time didn’t allow enough time for us to clean up the way I would have liked to. Getting everyone ready, packing everything us and getting everyone a fast bit of breakfast, stripping the beds, starting the dishes and putting a load of laundry on was pretty stressful to do all of this before 10:00. An extra hour would have helped.

We enjoyed our stay in your lovely home. Monday it rained so hard we did not attempt to leave the house and remarked if you had to be inside what a great place to be. The view is great. We enjoyed the whole area as well.

Loved the house!! View was spectacular!! Could update electronics. Couldn't make the master bedroom remote work. Some of the overhead lights blew and had to use lamps
