Great cabin with many amenities!

  • 4 of 5

We loved this little gem of a cabin because of the view and so many activities such as the pool table, ping pong table, dart board, fire pits and many games. The gas grill and charcoal grill were also a bonus. Our family took advantage of the beautiful rivers closeby and went Kayaking down the Manistee and the Au Sable, thoroughly enjoying each trip. I was worried we would need more blankets since we came at a cooler time but there were more than enough. You had everything we could ever need provided throughout the house: dishes, storage for leftovers, and extra refrigerator in the basement, bug spray, pillows, interesting books to read, cork screw, spices, etc. Thank you for letting us stay -- we will definitely come back!

2nd time at Charterallamimac

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 6 adults 4 children stayed comfortably in this home. The communication was great from Terry and Charlotte, and Shel Haven canoe and kayak rentals were so kind and helpful. The Manistee River is beautiful, we adore the sauna, and the home is very comfortable and has absolutely everything you need. Only complaint is the road noise.

Great Weekend!

  • 5 of 5

This was the perfect place for us to stay. Our family came from all over the country for a wedding in Grayling. It was so nice to be able to spend time together. We enjoyed sitting out on the dock and watching the kayaks and rafters go by. Terry and Charlotte were easy to work with. The cabin had everything we needed. I would recommend Charterallamimac on Manistee River.

Another fantastic time was had by all!

  • 5 of 5

This was our second stay at this charming home! There is so much to do right on the property. We went tubing, played yard games, and then in the evening we enjoyed the games in the lower level. The home is very well equipped and very clean. We will book here again!!!

Great Spot on the Manistee River

  • 5 of 5

Charterallamimac is perfect for kayaking the Manistee. Since the weather was still cooler, we put in at the 612 bridge. Total trip was a little less than 4 hours back to the cabin. If the weather had been warmer, we probably would have started up at the Cameron Rd bridge. For those who don't have their own kayaks or don't want to mess with multiple vehicles, there is a canoe/kayak livery walking distance away (Shel-Haven).

The cabin had everything we needed and more. The sauna was perfect in the cool evenings. We're just disappointed that we didn't have enough time for a Ping-Pong tournament. We would definitely stay here again when back in the Grayling area, but hopefully for longer next time.
