Everthing you need!
This is our second time renting this home. Once again we found the place with everything we needed to have an enjoyable weekend. Close to town in case you forget something. Sits right along the Manistee River with a beautiful view. Would recommend it to anyone.
Thank you! We aim to please and hope to provide everything that might be necessary for a fun filled stay!
Our weekend at the cabin could not have been more perfect! The cabin's kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, baking and grilling. The weather was perfect, the river was beautiful, and we look forward to staying here again!
Thank you! We try to think of everything we would want! Looking forward to seeing you again!!
Property was as described and perfect for our weekend getaway.
There was plenty of yard space for lawn games, plenty of bonfire wood for evening fires, and plenty of beautiful views along the river. The house was well stocked with bedding, kitchen ware, and even teeth flossers in the bathroom to clean up the pieces of ribs that got caught from the ribs we made on the awesome outdoor grill!
I’d highly recommend for any family or friends group looking to make memories via the awesome nature that surrounds you, or just let loose in the awesome cabin!
It is a big and clean cottage with nice access to the river. It served our needs very well. We were not looking for peace and quiet so the extraneous noise was not a problem. It has a convenient location for getting around in your car. A canoe rental business is just hundreds of feet away and it is a great river to tube, kayak or canoe. I do not fish but fishing is good too.
The cabin was clean and full of everything you would need on a get away!! The place felt extremely homey! Great location!! We will stay there again for sure!
Thank you. We try hard😃
Not worth the money!
Screens are not on all bedroom windows...unable to open windows because of this. Kitchen pans with terribly scratched Teflon coating....leaches onto food. Kitchen is Not well stocked! Air conditioner can’t be regulated for downstairs and it is FREEZING downstairs when air is on in the main level(terribly cold for those sleeping downstairs). Mouse in lower level with additional crawlers “life” downstairs. Bugs throughout the basement!
Setting .. overlooking Manistee river is pretty.
Fly fishing, kayaking, canoeing out your front door!!! Two famous rivers, the Manistee & AuSable, where you can canoe, kayak, swim or fish! Lake Margrethe - a 1,900 acre all-sport lake, State Park with camping and boat landing, miles of groomed snowmobile and ATV trails & large parking lots, downhill and cross country skiing at Hanson Hills, miles of off-road & casual bicycling trails at Hanson Hills and all the way from town to Hartwick Pines State Park where there is a logging museum, hiking trails, chapel, small lakes, camping & cross country skiing by lantern! Historic Wellington Farm Park and Grayling Fish Hatchery where you can feed trout in the raceways or catch your dinner! Grayling Army Airfield is a public/military use airport one mile from town. Home of the world famous 121-mile AuSable Canoe Marathon held the last full weekend in July.
