We absolutely loved staying at the Moondrifter condo 207. It was very neat and clean and close to everything. The condo was in great shape with all new funiture and appliances. We stayed there for 6 days and want to recommend it to everyone. The owners were really friendly and helpful with all of our questions. It was a great price also. Highly recommend Moondrifter 207. We were really impressed with the beds, they were more comfortable than what we sleep on at home. The condo was nicely decorated also. We love the flat screen tv's in the bedrooms too.

Great place to stay

This was a beautiful condo, very convenient to everything on the beach. The condo was very clean and well kept. This was a wonderful place to stay. We got it for a great price and the unit was great. very neat and clean. The beds were super big and comfortable. Great ocean view and close to everything. The kitchen looked like it was brand new with new cabinets and appliances. Would definately recommend it to all my friends and family. We will be repeat renters from these owners. The owners were especially helpful and friendly.

worst place we have ever stayed

rented unit 207 July 21-28, 2012 and I felt it important that you know that it was by far the worst room I have ever stayed in. When we arrived at the property we were not aware of a parking fee, which again was not a huge deal but we should have been informed of this by the owner. When we asked her about it she stated she knew nothing about it.

Kitchen- microwave handle was broke off,

•refrigerator would not close properly which I believe had to do with the hinge, •every dish we pulled out to use appeared filthy and was washed by hand before we could use it, •cabinet doors were at least half broken at the hinges

Dining room/Livingroom- •Light fixture above the table was missing 3 bulbs

•Furniture was very worn out and fabric was bunched up and pillows on the couch had holes in the where the stuffing was coming out •When we pulled the sofa bed out the mesh was ripped that held the mattress •Mattress on the pull out was stained and smelled and was not useable •Vertical Blinds were broke and would not close, when I looked at them closely there were knots tied in several places where the string had been broken before Main Bath- •Medicine cabinet had rust in it •Toilet tank lid had to be taken off every time you flushed to get the tank to fill back up •Washer in the closet was all zip tied together where you put the soap in •Dryer had no lint trap so lint floated all in the dryer

1st bedroom(immediately to the right when you walk in the condo)-

•Furniture in the closet area was unsafe if I sat my suitcase on it, it would probably have collapsed •Bed was sunk in the middle •Sheets were full of sand and no one had even slept in it or got on it yet 2nd Bedroom/Bath-

•Shower would not drain, half way through the shower you had to turn the water off to drain so it wouldn't over flow then start again. While at the condo the air conditioner froze up one night and we contacted the owner by 8am. We were told she would send someone out. Tried calling her back all day to check the status with no answer but was later called by someone else who said it was our fault that we had the air down to low and they were not sending anyone, but we actually only had it at 71 like the lady stated to us to set it at. We stopped by the office downstairs and the guy in the office came up and looked at the unit with us and it was again filthy and they removed the air filter that was clogged in the unit as well.

Owner's Response: I am the owner and I feel it is important that you know that this renter was wanting a free vacation rental. They were already given a huge discount from the normal Moondrifter rates. A day after they departed, they contacted us that they wanted a partial or full refund or a bad review would be left. 95% of what they said is totally untrue. Read below for details: First, we thought the parking passes were discontinued after spring break. No one else has mentioned this to us. Kitchen- all appliances are less than 4 years old. Also, new cabinets. Only 2 upper doors had loose hinges. The microwave handle had been broken, but was taped with matching colored tape and was fully operational and did not look bad. All dishes that are used are put in dishwasher by cleaning crew. I realize that some people like to rewash there dishes before using regardless of how clean they are. Our cleaning crew has always done a very good job. Dining/living room- We checked with renters before and after these guests. Blinds are in good working order and no complaints about sofas or any other furniture. Some light bulbs were out, but had them replaced. Bath in hallway- Toilet was broken while this renter was in there. As soon as we found out (these guests didn't notify us until after they left) we had it repaired and it is working great. Beds- The furniture and bedding are fairly new and beds are very comfortable according to other guests. (Someone told us that the king bed was the most comfortable that they had ever slept in). Our cleaning staff had put on freshley laundered sheets just before the complaining guests arrived. Air conditioner froze up due to the thermostat being set at 65 degrees and the balcony doors left open. We were in constant contact with renters all day to get this problem solved. We informed them to turn off air and let unit defrost then to turn back on and KEEP BALCONY DOOR CLOSED. After later talking to renter, he said that the A/C was working great and was very appreciative for the help. This renter when first arriving in unit sent a text message stating how great the condo looked-never complained about anything else while they were down there other than the A/C freezing up. Then a day after they departed, was sent a text wanting a refund or they would give a bad review. After checking with other renters, cleaning staff, and maintainance staff, we realized that this renter was trying to get a free rental out of us.
