Quiet and relaxing !!!

  • 4 of 5

Beautiful view from the deck of Lake Seneca !!! Lake water was warm and clean. Very relaxing. if you need anything, Watkins Glenn town was only 10 minutes away. Many wineries to sample around the lake. 4 wheel or all wheel drive a must to get to the cabin! The owner Kim was only a phone call away if we needed anything ! will be back for sure

Relax in a private piece of paradise!

  • 5 of 5

We loved every single thing about this home, from the view of the lake to the peace and quiet of the surrounding woods (with the exception of one little thing only worth mentioning if you aren't able to move around easily - read on).

This home was clean, bright, well-equipped and so very private. We brought our kayaks and kayaked every single day (here's the one thing that needs mentioning) - There are a LOT of steps down stairs to the water. Gravity helps going down, but it's not so fun going back up - HOWEVER, that would never stop us from requesting to rent again

We sat on our private deck every morning with coffee and every night with wine. It's just an absolute gem!

Thank you for having this amazing property for rent!

Perfect Getaway

  • 5 of 5

Great hidden getaway. Private, secluded with all the comforts. Kim made sure we had everything we needed. I can't say enough great things about this cute little cottage & it was just what 2 busy people with hectic lives needed to get away from the world. The view off of the deck is amazing & we enjoyed sitting by the firepit by our own dock. The stairs are a climb but they are very well maintained & even have a bench half way up to take a break. Lighting is also wrapped around the entire stairwell. The only drawback people may find is the driveway. We are off roaders & have a chevy tahoe so we actually enjoyed putting our truck to the test but it's definitely not for those who are timid drivers....but Kim warns you in advance. She even checks to see what you drive before you book. I can't wait until my next visit!

I loved this place!

  • 5 of 5

This place was so secluded, private and peaceful. The drive on the unpaved road could be a little hairy for those who haven't driven on anything like that before but I thought it was part of the cabin's charm. The views of the lake from the deck and right from the bed are beautiful. My husband and I spent every night at the beach watching the fire and listening to the waves crash in. It was a perfect place to unwind and totally relax. We can't wait to go back!

Great place to stay

  • 5 of 5

This place was great, and offered everything we needed for a fun week of grilling, swimming, camp firing, and relaxing. The view from the deck (which went around 3 sides of the building!) was phenomenal, and the lake is great to swim in. Very secluded, so nobody was bothering us at all throughout our stay.

The stairs down to the lake were a bit of a climb, but the destination was worth every one of the 65 steps. And they did tell us right up front in the description, so we were ready for them. The only down side was the road in, but that was also described by them in advance. Make sure you take the right road in the fork though to get to the actual property, as the GPS makes it look like you should take the left road. There is a small sign saying to go right, but we got in late at night and didn't see it until the next morning, so we had to make the two road 4x4 trek an extra time. Still worth it!

Great place overall, and we'll likely be staying there again.
