This property was EXACTLY what I was looking for in my recent trip to LA. Pretty central location to all of your getaway needs in this area. The property was clean and equipped with all the essentials for your stay. And the view - you really can't beat it. Take it all in with a glass of wine right outside your door. Leon was a great host being attentive and informative on the area. Highly recommend this property!
My family recently rented Leon's place for 5 nights. Let me start by saying that Leon is very responsive and accommodating host. His friendly and personable attitude made us feel comfortable immediately. He is not intrusive but makes himself available should you need anything at all. This property is perfect for couples, best friends and even small families. It is conveniently located and we found that we were close to every place we wanted visit. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. There is a lovely yard, that feels very private. It is perfect for morning tea, yoga or an evening glass of wine to watch the sunset. The views from this property are spectacular and the pictures do not capture the magnitude of the experience. I'd like to mention that Runyon canyon is within walking distance and is a great place to stretch your legs and take in some views of the city. It's also a good place for those hoping to spot a celebrity during their stay. ( my kids were very excited about a few of their sightings). This property is perfect location for a getaway. i would absolutely recommend to a friend ( and already have). My husband and I will definitely be returning...next time, without the children 😉
This place was the most amazing place to stay with great views and perfect location. Staying in Hollywood hills with the stars in this amazing place let us feel what it would be like to actually live there. Leon was the perfect host and a really great guy and next time we come to LA we will be staying here again for sure!
Having never spent any time in LA, I was totally unsure of where to stay for an extended visit with my wife to enjoy some time away. I knew we would be attending concerts at both The Greek Theatre and The Hollywood Bowl. We had tickets for Conan. And our flight was into Burbank. Leon’s place turned out to be an absolutely amazing location for all of the above.
The view is incredible, with Mulholland Drive winding down the pass before your eyes, the Hollywood Bowl Overlook on a crest directly across the pass, and of course the downtown LA skyline framed perfectly in the distance.
We made trips to beaches on two days. Wish we would have gone to Venice Beach earlier in the day, because once we got there and rented bikes, we didn’t want to leave. But it was time for the season ending concert at the Bowl, complete with the fireworks finale. Which, btw, we could see the higher fireworks from the apartment on a prior night. What a pleasant surprise.
By the last day of our stay I was able to zip around town without GPS. Thank goodness. Waze kind of made me crazy, constantly shifting routes to avoid backups. There are three routes down the hillside that drop you into the thick of Hollywood in a matter of minutes. Google Maps estimated eight minutes to Warner Brothers Gate 8, and we made it in seven.
The apartment is cozy for a couple. We used the kitchen area to cook breakfast each day. There’s not much counter space, but did I mention Location?
Lastly, Leon made some excellent restaurant suggestions, one of which turned out to be a top highlight of our trip.
Leon being the great host that he was was always available to chat or text. He had all the right answers while we were getting our car rental. He made our trip very pleasant. Never did we have mis- communication with Leon. The stay at Leon's was incredible. He has an outside sitting area with several water fountains and a koi pond. The sound of running water and the scenic background of the entire city of Los Angeles was so awesome. Checking out was as easy as leaving a hotel. Leon requested that we just leave things as is because he was gonna clean up after we left. Leon's place is centrally located to all the hotspots throughout the city of L.A., Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Venice Beach, Universal Studio, Topanga Canyon, Disneyland and Santa Monica just to name a few. We found Vivian's an awesome breakfast and lunch resturaunt just minutes away from the house owned by Leah Remini's family which was a great place to eat. Grocery store's were minutes away. This place was Heaven. Thank you Leon.
My boyfriend and I were looking for a romantic spot in the Hills to enjoy the long 4th of July holiday weekend. This property is in a great area and was very easy to find. It looked even better than the photos and the view is simply breathtaking! It was very clean and came with all the amenities we needed. Leon was a gracious host and extremely easy to work with. Upon arrival he gave us a quick tour, and then left us to enjoy our stay. We felt like we had the whole property to ourselves, although he was just a phone call away if we needed anything. We had such a great weekend there that we didn't want to leave! We'd definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a great little place to stay in the Hills...
