The best farmland cottage experience ever
We loved the view from the porch, we loved the quiet road. We loved the town of Campbellsville.
We enjoyed our stay at Granny’s Country Cottage. It was relaxing and a great home base for bourbon tastings, museums, and other sites.
Very responsive hosts!
Hope we will get back some day!
Perfect for our trip
It was the perfect little cottage that suited our needs for our family. Great hosts. Very clean and well maintained for such an old cottage.
Thank you for your comment Ellen. Our 1932 cottage has been through many a remodel yet we have tried to maintain my Granny's country and nostalgic charm. We hope you visit with us again soon. Ronnie and Darlene
Home Away from Home
This is our 3rd time staying at Granny’s cottage. We have enjoyed it every time. We have traveled each time with different family members and just love to stay at granny’s farmhouse as we call it. Our son attended Campbellsville University and Granny’s was a perfect location to the college but still out in the country and each time we hosted my son and his roommates to a family dinner. It is also a great location for some great siteseeing from Maker’s Mark to Lincoln’s Childhood home to Churchill Downs! So much better than staying in a hotel!
Such a peaceful and relaxing stay. Worth every penny--

Granny's Cottage and the Cows Came Free!
Granny's Cottage was the perfect location for us when we came for a family celebration right down the road. Also, it was easy to zip into town when the urge for pizza hit. We had 5 full grown adults and there was plenty of comfy room inside and on the lovely front porch, complete with swing. In the shadow of a stately red barn, the cows across the street made us feel especially welcome!
Come see us again...we may throw in a horse in the joining lot next visit. :)
This picturesque location provides a charmingly furnished country cottage that is especially clean.
The cottage is decorated with comfortable country accommodations in an agricultural setting. Surrounded by native timber, pasture and grazing animals (horses, cattle) you shouldn't be surprised to see whitetail deer or a groundhog wondering about the landscape. You'll enjoy the walking paths and nearby hiking trails.
Visit Green River Lake, Lake Cumberland or a number of historic attractions all within an hours drive: My Old Kentucky Home, Wolf Creek Dam and Fish Hatchery, Makers Mark and other distilleries, Mammoth Cave, Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill, Janice Holt Giles Homestead, Campbellsville University or Lindsey Wilson College.
