Relaxing retreat with amazing views
Fantastic home set up perfectly for our large group. The best part was the elk outside the dining room window each morning and evening. We spent hours just watching them eat and spar.
So glad you enjoyed and had a good time! Thank you for staying with us.
Jane thank you for everything what an amazing place you and Bill have created ! We had the best time. Eagles Retreat feels like a retreat it’s secluded and our women’s weekend was perfect !! ❤️
Lovely setting and accommodation
We rented this house to accommodate guests at a family wedding and to provide more family time together. The setting was beautiful and the house had ample space for all of us. We hiked the local area, enjoying the perfect weather and wonderful mountain scenery. The house was stocked with all we needed, and the owner was very helpful, responsive, and friendly. We highly recommend this property to others.
Thank you for staying with us. So glad your family made wonderful memories. Loved having you I. Our home!
Love strawberry. Lots of memories and the location was great for our family.
So glad you stayed with us. The family history was so exciting to hear. Your family is the beginning of the town of strawberry .
The views from this property can't be beat. There are so many games and outdoor activities. We really enjoyed all of them, and seeing the elk every day was fun. The owners are very responsive if there are any questions. We did feel the notes everywhere around the house with rules and directions were a bit much though. And we received many calls, emails and visits from the owners/helpers during our stay, which was intended to be helpful, however felt a bit overbearing. Overall, it's a great place for large groups with plenty of sleeping space and so much to do. Thank you!
Thank you for your review. I’m so glad you enjoyed the area and elk.
Your concern with emails, signs and people that help us. I will address each.
I went back and look and found 2 when I gave you the free night stay. I was trying to find out when your parents would arrive. Combo info also
Richard came over to check auto water for the elk and he also brought you garbage bags.
Signs—- they are up because we have large groups of 25. They help the leader to get the information to all.
Elk sign- for guest safety. Don’t go down on ground level when elk are there.
Air con— all doors and windows have to closed for air con to come on.
Emergency phone numbers
Check out— what items to put in laundry for us to pic up.
Call- I received a notice on my phone that the side door was trying to locked. It won’t lock if doors or windows aren’t locked. I call your mother to tell her I could tell her which ones were open .
It’s important for you to be able to have a great time. I never would want you to feel that way towards us. We are easy to talk to 24 hrs aday. You are guests in our home.and should be treated with kindness. Thanks Jane
