The perfect secluded family getaway spot!

  • 5 of 5

The property and house were absolutely amazing! It was everything that was advertised and more. The yard was secluded and the reservoir was just gorgeous. The entire family had a blast fishing, kayaking and swimming. The birds were great to watch and we even had the pleasure of observing several bald eagles!

The house it self was well stocked with plenty of kitchen ware and condiments from previous visitors. We actually brought way more than we needed to. The house was very clean and had all of the modern luxuries to keep us occupied when it rained. Plenty of extra bedding for a few surprise visitors. We had a perfect family vacation and will definitely book again next summer.

Everything you need to relax

  • 4 of 5

Whether it is sitting by the fire, fishing in the lake, jumping off the trampoline into the lake, or reading one of the many books available to guests this house has what you need. Location is remote, but there's falls near by to do a hike. We would definitely go back!

Weekend on the Reservoir.

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay thoroughly. The owners were A+ to work with, the many huge windows in this home give excellent views of the east end of salmon reservoir, we caught lots of smallmouth and rock bass while out on our boat which we were able to keep right at the dock, My family and kids had a great time and we will look to rent again in the future.

Awesome private getaway!

  • 5 of 5

This is a beautiful home in a great location. The best feature of this property is the location. It's located on a huge, private waterfront lot with lots of room to spread out and have family fun. This part of the reservoir is very secluded so there isn't a lot of boat traffic. The lake is great for swimming, paddling, boating, fishing, or just sitting back with a cold one and enjoying the sights and sounds of nature. Our party of six adults and a one-year-old had a an amazing time here. We are all planning on coming back next summer, hopefully for a longer stay!

The house itself has everything you need. The kitchen was well-stocked and there was a gas grill outside. In the evening there is a large fire pit for campfires. It rained for one of our nights, but there's plenty of room and activities indoors. We had a blast playing board games and ping pong for the night.

The hosts were very accommodating and easy to work with. They truly want you to enjoy yourself, and it shows.

Owner's Response: Thank you for staying here and I'm glad your group enjoyed themselves. 1) Website clearly shows bed sizes to be full-sized and one king sized. 2) The place is cleaned throughly after each traveler. We have had many travelers stay here with no complains. 3) Website does not advertise a dishwasher and never did. Owner provides plenty of silverware, plates and glasses with dish soap included. 4) In each bedroom there are extra comforters and blankets for all the beds.

This waterfront vacation rental was a beautiful well cared for home that was perfect for our vacation. The owner was fantastic to deal with and the home had everything we needed. The peaceful setting was ideal for rest and relaxation and a great location for day trips to the Finger Lakes, Oswego, Old Forge and Alexandria Bay. The sunset view from the living area was spectacular -there is virtually a waterfront view from every window. We cooked in the well stocked kitchen and enjoyed s'mores around the fire pit. The owners generously allowed us the use of the canoe and kayak -we did not see a lot of boats on the water so it was easy for us to relax and enjoy the water. The wifi was an unexpected treat. Can't wait to come back next summer!
