Bring your fishing boat, canoe, kayaks & water toys. We are walking distance to public access (only 2/10th of a mile) to beautiful Green Lake.

Whether watching the sun rise over a cup of coffee on the porch, or roasting marshmallows at night in the fire pit, you will no doubt see curious deer or perhaps turkeys as they graze the surrounding woods.

The second level features another living room with cable TV, a kitchenette with sink, fridge & microwave, a full bath, office and a master bedroom en suite (complete with an adjoining lounge area perfect for relaxing with a book and glass of wine).

Spacious and Beautiful Home

  • 5 of 5

My sisters and I plan a 3 day weekend get away every year and this year we stayed at Lin's house in Interlochen. The house is beautifully decorated! It is cozy and warm and had that cheery cottage-like feel to it. It is extremely spacious! We loved it for so many reasons. There are 3 bedrooms on the main floor so 3 of my sisters had their own rooms. The downstairs is like having another little apartment. There was another bedroom down there with a king bed where me and my other sister slept with more than enough room for us to spread out. Unfortunately it pretty much rained all weekend otherwise we would have totally utilized the back deck and the fire pit. There are 2 big bathrooms which was a huge plus with 5 woman having to get ready in the morning. Everything in the house was spotless and extremely clean. The pictures that Lin has posted on this site are exactly what you get with the exception that the house is bigger than what it looks like in the pictures. Being the girls that we are...we spent our days in Traverse City and Sutton's Bay shopping till we dropped. We wanted to go to Glen Arbor and Fishtown, but ran out of time. The first night we went to Hofbrau for dinner which was about 10 minutes from the house. Loved it there!! The food and drinks were great! Loved the atmosphere there and we had a fantastic waiter....his name was Ray! We were laughing and being goofy and he was playing right along with us We had a blast! We never made it to Bud's restaurant, but heard that they were really good too!

Lin was a complete joy to work with! She made sure that if there were any problems or if we needed anything that we had her number and knew that we could get ahold of her. She made a point to call me to make sure that we got there and that everything was to our liking. I know now why her house was so cheery and uplifting, that is Lin! Extremely helpful, wants nothing more than for you to have a great time at her place, she is a joy to talk to! She was very helpful with any questions I had and when I asked her about things to do she was more than happy to give me suggestions and ideas.

My sisters and I thank you so much Lin for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home, for being so generous and understanding of our arrival and departure and for being so wonderful with our stay there. We've been renting homes from Homeaway for several years now and this was definitely one of our BEST experiences! We would LOVE to come back and stay again!

Spacious and Welcoming

  • 5 of 5

My family (8 adults) just stayed at Linda's for a long weekend of skiing and snowshoeing. The house is exactly as pictured, very cheery and welcoming with lots of natural light and plenty of space for all 8 of us. It was the perfect home away from home for the weekend that allowed us to enjoy time together as a group in the evenings, but also provided privacy and space when needed. The location was perfect for us as we spent our days at Crystal Mountain and our evening in Traverse City, everything was within a reasonable drive.

Linda was extremely sweet and very nice to communicate with. There was a small issue that arose right before we were supposed to arrive and Linda called me immediately to fill me in on the situation and help provide alternatives if they weren't able to address the issue before our arrival. Luckily, all went smoothly and we were able to stick with our original plans and had no issues.

I would definitely stay here again should we find ourselves back in the area next winter!

Great place to have good family week!

  • 5 of 5

This cabin or house as it really is was a perfect place for our family week. We had 3 to 6 people coming and going. It is very spacious house. Downstairs is almost another living space. Lin is very gracious and wants to please and take care of you. We wouldn't hesitate to rent again if in the area.

Lovely Surprise!

  • 5 of 5

My family and our neighbor's family, 8 ppl in total (4 adults and 4 kids) booked this house/cottage for a getaway! We could not have been more pleased to find that we had plenty of room and privacy. 2 full baths - 2 master suites (1 up and one down), 2 bedrooms (we did one for boys and 1 for girls) and kitchen, dining room plus 2 family rooms. We ended up spending most of our time out front playing kickball, our back on the deck or by the fire pit. We did play games in the living room and dining room during the evening hours and storm. We were minutes from the lakes and had easy access to boating and swimming. Only 15 ish minutes from Traverse City - this was the perfect cozy get away for us! Lin - the owner was super easy to work with, too. She followed up, follow through and made sure we were happy.
