This not your high-priced, cookie cutter, typical Florida condo with granite counter tops, etc. Instead, this is a lovely 20 year old waterfront, manufactured home with a fenced yard in an older NW Tampa community. It is situated on a Rocky Creek saltwater canal that leads into Tampa Bay & the Gulf of Mexico. Includes a canoe for the adventurous.
Available by DAYS, WEEK(s) or MONTH(s). Flexible check in day and extra days may be added on. Please check "AVAILABILITY CALENDAR".
MINIMUM RESERVATION - 3 nights
BRING YOUR BOAT & FISHING GEAR. Some basic fishing rods & tackle are also provided. If you're lucky you might catch a dinner of Redfish, Snook, Spotted Seatrout or Mullet off the dock or head for the bay or Gulf.
Pretty good for the price, very roomy. Needs some updating. Located close to everything.
House was spacious but bedroom #2 needs to look/feel more like a bedroom. Needs a headboard and side table and a dresser for clothes. We were very impressed with the amount of dishes and pots/pans in the kitchen. The back yard was a disaster and our pets came back into house with plant stickers all in their fur so now all will go for grooming. I would recommend the house due to size and location even though it is an older mobile home and has never been updated. The beds were comfortable and dining table ample for our family.
We moved to Tampa area and stayed in Rocky Creek Shoals for temporary housing. The house was great, very well stocked, better than a hotel, and Jack was a great host. The canal and fruit trees were an added enjoyment. We stayed in and did most of our cooking there including use of the propane grill. When we needed extra time for finding a permanent home, Jack and his wife went out of their way to accommodate our extended stay. Thanks, again, Jack for your generosity and hospitality!
We visited the Tampa area for our daughters 9th birthday. The location of the home was perfect for traveling to Clearwater and Busch Gardens. We were a short drive from both places and not right on a busy street. It was quiet, cozy, and we felt right at home. Home was clean. The starfruit tree was a plus! My daughter enjoyed all the little lizards running around and the tiny crabs by the dock. We have already told friends about the location and if we travel back to the Tampa area this is a house I would definitely love to stay in again.
This property was less expensive than a small hotel room, but much more comfortable and spacious. Having a full kitchen, not to mention a grill on the porch, makes the stay much more comfortable.
I really loved this home. It was very comfortable and peaceful. The owners thought of everything possible, and I appreciate the warmth they provided. I definetly would stay again and refer anyone wanting to travel to this area. It was great!
