Great Stay

  • 5 of 5

My family and I truly enjoyed the stay in this Condo. We found the condo clean and comfortable. The fridge did take a full day to cool off so I would recommend bringing your items already cold or coolers. The washer/dryer was a great addition. The beach and surrounding areas were clean. It did take a little bit to find the pool, but it was also kept very clean. The Dolphin Fun Boat & Fort Morgan were big hits with my family. The Wharf was just ok. Great Trip!

Great visit!

  • 5 of 5

We arrived and found the unit clean and well maintained. We enjoyed it being so close to the stairs leading to the beach. We plan to make this trip annually. Enjoyed being further from the pool as at night on our last visit the pool could be very noisy. Would definitely recommend this property to others. We also enjoy that the property is away from all the high rise condos. This makes for a more private beach. We hope to visit again Summer of 2017!!

Good stay

  • 3 of 5

My family loved the location of the property. It is right on the beach, two showers on the sand make it convenient, and parking is tight but it's nice having your own space. The unit was as shown in the photos. My family really enjoyed the HD TVs in each room, the housekeeping supplies provided (although we did bring our own), and the books, coloring books, the puzzles, etc. This really helped us pass the time on the rainy days we experienced, and we found it a considerate nice touch. The chief complaints I have are that it was always uber-humid inside the unit despite running the AC and the bathroom vent fan after showers. It just seemed to make everything damp. Additionally, because the unit is completed floored in ceramic tile, there was constant sand on the feet (despite vacuuming and sweeping several times a day) and, thus, sand in the beds. The space would have been more comfortable with carpeting or rugs in each room. Also, we were on the 1st floor and we were awakened at 5:30am on our first morning to people stomping around upstairs and dragging furniture (prior to their checkout we determined). New guests came later that afternoon and we heard them stomping around and moving furniture as well. There was a small stereo in the unit. We turned it on once, and the neighbor next door came over to ask us to turn it down. After that, and the fact we could hear neighbors stomping, we decided the walls were thin and lived in constant sensitivity of our 4 children being too loud when we were inside and they were awake. The location and space was perfect for our needs, but with the humidity in the unit, no way to escape the sand on the floors and beds, and the thin walls, we probably will not stay here again. I do give kudos to the management - I am sure there is only so much that can be done with thin walls and lack of airtight unit seals, and I can understand why they do not want carpet (spills) inside the units. It was just not for me.

Our first family vacation with our 3 kids.

  • 5 of 5

We loved the location of the property. The bunk beds (double on bottom and twin on top) worked perfectly for our 3 boys. Only negatives were the college students partying on spring break, but we called and the noise issue was taken care of and the uncomfortable bed I slept in. We would definitely use the condo again because the negatives did not outweigh the positives. The fully stocked kitchen with everything needed to cook with made it very nice for us. We loved our vacation. Thank you!

Great place to stay with a small family

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for 3 nights in September 2015 and had very little to complain about. The condo is decorated very nicely and everything was in pretty good shape. I stayed here with my wife and it was bigger, cheaper, and had a much better location than the hotels nearby. The bedrooms aren't very big, but all we used it for was sleeping anyway, so I wouldn't really say that's a negative. The two bunk beds looked like they would only sleep a couple of small children.

The condo was fully stocked with pots, pans, knives, etc. It has a washer and dryer, which would have been handy if we had stayed longer than we did. You have a designated parking space below the unit, which is very small. I have a mid-sized sedan and was unable to park completely inside the space because it was so tight my doors wouldn't open enough to get out.

The location is great! About 20 steps from the condo and you're on the beach. It wasn't during peak travel season, but the area of beach that it's on doesn't seem to be nearly as crowded. It's surrounded by similar sized condos, not any of the giant high-rise buildings, so the crowd is more sparse. The complex also has a couple of showers and hoses so you can get the sand off before you head inside. Oh, and the sand will be everywhere no matter how hard you try to keep it out of the condo.

There's some very good restaurants and bars nearby as well that you could walk to if you wanted to. I would certainly return to this condo when we make another trip down. Oh, but bring extra toilet paper. We scoured the condo and there was no extra rolls anywhere to be found.
