2nd time staying and want to make it a 3rd!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here a second time in Apri or May, I can't remember since it's been a while but loved the cabin every bit as much as the first time! Jack was super nice again and we can't wait to go up a third time. It's quiet, cozy, and perfect for a relaxing trip. It's really hard to pack up and leave this place!

Great stay, great cabin!

  • 5 of 5

The cabin is set up perfect for people who love to cook food and chill. Really nice location and view of the forest from almost every angle. Enjoying the mountain sunshine on the deck was exactly what we were hoping for. The kids loved the open space inside and we loved getting the fireplace going in the evenings. Jack was a pleasure to rent from, we had a great stay.

Perfect Spot

  • 5 of 5

This is the perfect vacation home for a family. You have the sensation of being miles away from anything, yet you're only 10 minutes from downtown Flagstaff. The back porch is peaceful, the bedrooms are spacious and the kitchen has everything you need to make a good meal. We really appreciated that Jack the owner, made arrangements for a crew that was doing some work in the basement to finish up early so that we could check in early. You can tell that he takes a lot of pride in the home and there are a lot of personal touches that make you feel like an invited guest.

Tranquil peaceful beautiful

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was just as described! It was set in the beautiful Flagstaff forest. It is a true log cabin and so amazing inside and out. My husband and I were visiting and chose this cabin because it is similar to what our dream home will be someday. The hot tub was so relaxing! We spent as much time as we could in it to just relax and enjoy the beautiful and tranquil forest surrounding us. It was so close to Flagstaff it was a quick car ride back and forth. The fireplace is quite a showstopper! Jack was great! He was quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. There are some renovations going on outside, while we still give it 5 stars, there was building materials and tools visible as an eyesore.

Owner's Response: Thank you Michelle! All feedback, good or bad, is vital to an actively involved vacation-rental homeowner. I have spoken to the contractors about leaving the construction area especially tidy when guests are staying and they are not working. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank all the amazing and wonderful guests I have had the pleasure to host over the last 6 years! Due to your support, I am finishing out our basement and adding a bedroom bathroom and living area and will be able to host up to 10 guests in style and. comfort by this summer instead of only the current 7 guest maximum. If I sound excited - you bet I am! I look forward to meeting so many more of you real soon- Jack Lipton, owner

Our AZ adventure

  • 5 of 5

We used this cabin as a launching point after coming up from Mesa to visit the Grand Canyon (1 1/2 hrs away) and other surrounding attractions that we saw including the Meteor Crater, Walnut Canyon, and downtown Flagstaff. The cabin in just off 17 for easy access to the attractions. The cabin was well stocked and very comfortable. When we arrived, we were welcomed to a winter blast of snow and cold. The fireplace quickly provided the warmth and comfort we needed. There's a great little bar down the road that makes a great pizza (can't recall the name). I would definitely recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a place to spread out and relax while exploring what the many opportunities the area has to offer.

Cabin in March

  • 5 of 5

The cabin is in fact a 'real' log cabin and it is fabulous. Me and my family visited the cabin in the middle of March 2017. We had two couples and one extra guest for a total of five guests. The Cabin fit all of us more than comfortably. The cabin is extremely well kept and well stocked with things for the guests. I personally enjoyed much of the reading available at the cabin. The hot tub was perfect for the winter nights. The cabin is easy to find, only a few minutes south of Downtown Flaggstaff. We went skiing three of the days during our stay and the Cabin is only 40 min from the slopes. The Cabin itself sits in a beautiful area and has stunning views both at night and in the morning. If you are looking for a getaway from the world, I would recommend to anyone that they stay at this cabin!
