Great location. Nice lake views. Easy access to the lake. Pretty much everything you need for your stay is provided. Just bring your boat and food.

I would recommend this property to anyone. Owner is very friendly and helpful. I will be back if he'll have us.

Spring break 2017

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time at this house for spring break. We caught some nice fish and enjoyed the house. The owner was great and we wanted to stay longer!

Owner's Response: Thank you for your wonderful response. It was nice to hear about catching fish and I understand you had a great fish dinner. I try to make my renters feel at home, and you left my house just as clean as if no one even stayed there. I also tell my renters that if there are any questions before or during there stay to please contact me. It was very nice to meet you and your family and you are welcome back another time. Thanks again.

Long over-due review!

  • 5 of 5

My father, step-mother, my husband, myself and our 4 children stayed in this home last year (2015) from July 20th-25th. Let me tell you, we had the BEST time! The pictures do not do this place justice at all! The fenced in backyard gave me peace of mind for our younger children, especially being right on the water. We brought our boat and tied it up to the dock. We went jug-lining during the day and were frying up some fresh catfish by night! We all enjoyed fishing from the pier and playing in the water. We also brought big floats and would float out to the middle of the cove. It was amazing! We had the most memorable experience. The house had everything we needed and Robert, the owner, was amazing and so accommodating. We will absolutely be returning! Unfortunately, our funds right now didn't allow us to make this same trip this summer, but we will definitely be back next summer for a repeat of another amazing family vacation! I was so disappointed that we didn't get to go back this year. Thank you Robert for providing such an awesome place for everyone to enjoy!

Excellent Family Get-away

  • 5 of 5

This home was a great nostalgic family vacation spot at the lake for Memorial weekend. The fenced-in, completely shaded backyard was perfect for our 18 MO twins and 2 small dogs. Our kids' aunt and grandparents stayed as well. The dock was perfect for accessing the water. The kids had so much fun splashing around, they did not want to get out. We really enjoyed the view of the lake from the deck and could relax while watching the kids run around the yard. The master and second bedroom enjoy great views and an upstairs deck, as well. This was our first vacation as a family and to Lake Livingston, and this place was so peaceful (no loud, all-night parties, etc.). It was completely family oriented with quiet neighbors. Even though we had never been here before, the smell of fresh cut grass, firewood, the way the sun danced on the water, and the spirit of the home itself brought back memories of visiting our own grandparents in the summer. Being from the suburbs, it was nice to see so many huge, unusual birds right from the backyard. Having coffee first thing in the morning on that deck watching the water change was the best. We also checked out the state park, which was only a few miles from the home. The home is fully stocked, and we did not need to run to the store at all. The owner was so nice and accommodating. Thanks for making our first vacation so memorable! We would definitely love to come back.

Excellent Location

  • 5 of 5

Our family rented this home for the Labor Day weekend. We could not be more pleased with our decision. The homeowner is very accommodating and always available should a problem arise. Our 2 children (9 and 6) had a great time swimming and fishing from the dock. The boat ramp is just 2 houses down and is only for homeowners and guests so it's never crowded. Location is quiet and traffic is minimal. Home has just about everything you need, but is close to town should you forget to bring something. We plan on returning!
