This fully remodeled 2BR/2BA front side (mountain view) unit (rental licence #17-753),combines the
convenience of a hotel with the comfort of a condominium. Includes master with
queen bed, extra bedroom with twin beds and living area with queen sleeper
sofa. It is the only Gold+ rated condo in the entire complex! Designed
like a hotel suite with a fully equipped kitchen.
Blu-RayDVD player, and 3 flat panel TV's all with
cable (including HBO). The units encircle two large atrium's providing guests
with numerous places to relax and visit with one another. Amenities include an
indoor pool and hot tub, a game room & laundry room . This unit is located just 800 yards from the base area and is the first stop (Condo Route), of only two, on the bus route offering free shuttle service to the base area and town every 15 minutes in winter and every 20 minutes in Summer. Great mountain biking unit. Complex has outdoor bike cleaning station, indoor racks and/or bikes can be stored on the unit's balcony. Hundred's of miles of Colorado's best single track right outside the door.
The condo was Great. Nicely updated with a great view. I had a question while I was there and called the owner, He was so helpful it was like talking to an old friend. Will be back!
Wonderful condo with all the necessities. Great location, easy access to the hill, pool and hot tub for the kids. We skied to our heart's content. Just had to grab the shuttle. We will be back. Thank you for a great week.
The condo itself was very nice. Well decorated and cozy with comfortable beds and couches. Modern appliances and fairly well equipped kitchen. Convenience to Crested Butte mountain was very good. We walked a number of times and it was about 10 minutes however the bus stopped right at our parking lot and took us there quickly. A couple of disappointments: the pool was closed for repair for our entire stay and that was one of the big reasons we chose this location. Also, the pool table was not operating because someone stole all the balls and they were on order. And the wireless internet did not work well in bedrooms. The building interior was a bit dark and dreary. NOTE: there is a dumbwaiter to carry your luggage up and down and that's a major help with the three floors. We didn't find it coming in but did going out. It is on the side of the building near the pool -- opposite where we came in.
The condo was beautiful, located near the ski resort, and Alenka was easy to work with.
The property is a bit run down, and parking outside with two feet of snow dumped on your car is not ideal. Also seemed to be a bit of a rowdy college student hang out. We had loud noise in the common area until at least 10:00 every night.
Our kids loved the indoor pool and hot tub. We would likely return despite the property's shortcomings. Again, the unit itself was excellent.
This is a very nicely kept and finished condo. Alenka is a pleasure to work with. She made check in and the details of getting there very easy. The kitchen is well equipped. The set up of the condo is a bit different in that you walk into the bedroom from an indoor courtyard and the kitchen and living room are at the back. This does allow for the view of the mountain to be in the living area but in makes the bedroom warm, even in the fall. The bedroom does have the best and quietest ceiling fan I have ever experienced. Be prepared to carry your belongings to the 3rd floor. There are luggage carts and a dumb waiter but once on the 3rd floor the luggage cart is useless because of a short staircase. I do think the condo is a good value. It would be a great location for skiers.
We were very comfortable and had a great time. Can't wait to come back!
