Best of Gatlinburg TN

What a wonderful place to stay! The condo is extremely accommodating. While located on the top level can be a bit of a haul on the stairs; the views are breathtaking and allows for the upstairs bedroom loft with a full bath! The master bedroom is a nice size with a huge closet with playpens and extra bedding if needed. The master bath is in the bedroom and is fully stocked; towels, wash clothes, toilet paper, body wash, etc. Just a note... there is plenty of water pressure and the hot water is HOT!! The second bedroom is also a nice size with access to the main floor bathroom, also stocked. The hall has a washer and dryer. The kitchen is a good size with everything you could need. The living room is nicely decorated and has a pull out sleeper sofa. there are plenty of pamphlets and brochures to research anything you may want to do while staying in Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. We spent four days here July 2016 and loved every minute. There were three adults and three teens in our group and we all enjoyed the room and space of this condo. Coffee in the mornings on the balcony was peaceful and quite. The pool guy was friendly and was up every morning cleaning the pool. The walk ways were always clean and maintained. The dumpster is close enough to take out the trash and the parking lot was never full and had plenty of parking. Our first day, we decided to walk to Gatlinburg. The sidewalk is in the shade and the stroll is downhill. It didn't take that long. After spending the day downtown, we were rather tired and decided the Red trolley was the best way to get home, as it is up hill to go back. The fee is 50 cents per person and well worth it. The trolley is clean and air conditioned and the drivers are very nice and helpful. Take exact change! Some of our favorites were eating at Bubba Gump; fantastic food and if you are a fan of the movie, Dawn is the best waitress ever. She made this visit awesome! We also went to Dixie Stampede; get a printable $5 off coupons online and call for a reservation to avoid fees. The show was amazing and interactive. The food was also southern and delicious. The Space Needle and Arcade were a hit for our teens. This kept them busy for some time. Herb and Pat are such wonderful owners! We are thankful that they offer this convenient and spacious condo at such an affordable rate. This made this trip possible and we plan to return! I dare say you find more bang for you buck when needing space! Thnx

Lovely place !

  • 5 of 5

My family (husband, daughter & myself) along with 5 of my daughter's closest friends stayed here. We were celebrating their spring break. The condo was very nice and inviting. The owners were very professional and prompt, which made our accommodations even better. We look forward to staying here again. God bless!

Great place to stay

  • 5 of 5

My family and I stayed here for a few days during out fall break. The condo was furnished with everything you could ever need. The view from balcony was great but wished the leaves would have already changed colors. Location is walkable to downtown but the walk back can be a bit strenuous. Needless to say, we got plenty of exercise which we all needed. We spent one day hiking to Laurel Falls which was nice and ate at Bennett's BBQ and Loco Burro another night. Would love to come back when have more time to stay and will recommend to my friends who come to Gatlinburg frequently. Was hoping to see a bear in the parking lot since there had been one recently on a 3rd floor balcony. Maybe next time. Thank you Pat and Herb.

Good Place to Stay!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I stayed here back in July, we had plenty of room and all the comforts of home. The kids loved the pool and it was close to downtown. There were some very nice neighbors. We hope to be able to stay here again in the future. Give Pat and Herb a call if you are looking for a nice place to stay in Gatlinburg. Thank you Pat and Herb.

Felt like home!

  • 5 of 5

Such a nice condo. We stayed for 3 days over July 4th weekend. When I spoke with Pat she told me about all the Gatlinburg traditions, (parade and fireworks). This was valuable information! We had so much fun and the balcony was the perfect spot to watch the fireworks. You can tell this condo is someone's home, so cute and clean. We definitely recommend this condo! Thank you Pat and Herb

Wonderful Place to Stay

  • 4 of 5

My wife, two daughters, and two friends stayed here and had the best time. The condo is close enough to walk to down town Gatlinburg. The condo was clean, well appointed and everything and more that we expected. The best part of the experience was getting to know the Wingards. They were both very nice and easy to talk to. When I called or left an email message they were quick to respond and were so very nice. It was easy to tell that they love their family as much as I love mine. Hope to stay with them again in the very near future. It was a wonderful stay and a wonderful place to rest! THANKS!!!!

Location

From the Owner

This is a great location for us. It is close enough to Downtown Gatlinburg to allow us to walk, yet far enough away that we do not get all of the noise. Close to Roaring Fork, Mynatt Park and great restaurants.

Activity and Interests

Minnet Park is located one block from the condo. It is a great place for a family picnic. Roaring Fork provides a beautiful drive through the mountains. It is similar to Cades Cove, but located just behind the condos. There are great places to eat within walking distance. Convenient to Ober Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Dollywood and the outlet malls.
