Fantastic Getaway for Couples or Families!! The home was so clean, comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed; fireplace, books, games, DVD,VHS,CD's, Hot Tub, Blender for Margarita's and best of all..a Guitar!! Soaring Aspens, Fire Pit and beautiful picture perfect stream right outside the back door. We loved it , best birthday ever!! We will definitely rent this property again for our next 4x4 mountain getaway!!

Beautiful Creek side view

  • 4 of 5

Our family of five had a wonderful time staying at the 1st Chair Chalet. We were grateful to Bruce for promptly getting the hot tub fixed for our stay. He realized it wasn't working correctly on the day of our arrival and immediately scheduled a repairman to get it running. Our kids loved the creek, hot tub, playing Monopoly, poker, and watching and occasional movie from 1st Chair's collection. The best part was sleeping with the windows open and hearing the water pouring across the rocks. Marvelous!

Superb!

  • 5 of 5

My preference for a Rocky Mtn getaway is nature, quiet and coziness. 1st Chair Chalet has all of this and more. The river running just beyond the deck filled the chalet with enchanting sound. The cleanliness was outstanding. The wireless worked great which allowed me to keep contact with what I needed to connect with, but only when I chose to connect. I was warm and cozy and the location was super convenient to the mountain hiking which I did.

I expect to return!!

Thank you for sharing this special place!
