Charming 1930's Spanish home located in a quaint and quiet Santa Barbara neighborhood, the Lower Riviera. Just one mile from the beach and one mile from downtown Santa Barbara, this home is centrally locacted. It is a great place to use as a base for your visit here - explore Santa Barbara, Los Angeles is just 90 minutes south and the amazing Santa Ynez wine region is just 45 minutes to the north. Santa Barbara has much to offer - from beaches to hiking, golf to concerts or just some old fashion sight seeing and shopping!
The home is warm and comfortable and fully stocked with everything you will need to make the most of your stay. The kitchen and dining areas are very cozy and just off the spacious living room. The master bedroom has a King sized bed with a door that opens directly to one of the outside patios. A great place to enjoy a glass of wine and a sunset. The second bedroom has a queen sized bed and is spacious, quiet and has plenty of closet space! There is a sun room with a twin sized sleeper sofa for an extra guest.
Outside there are two great decks to enjoy the peaceful outdoors and a wonderful outside eating area that is perfect for evening meals...even with a large group. The back yard is private and quiet and has a BBQ to prepare some great meals. The front patio is perfect for morning coffee and reading the paper.
The owner was very helpful and gracious in accommodating a last minute stay so that we could attend, and walk to, a concert at the Santa Barbara bowl. The house was immaculate -- very clean and comfortable. We were able to walk to downtown restaurants, attend the concert, and easily return home afterwards. We will certainly return to this house in the future, even if the visit does not entail a concert at the Bowl. The house is so charming, and the location so perfect, to be desirable for any trip to Santa Barbara, whatever the reason! We recommend it highly.
The home is described perfectly by the owner. We found the home to be perfect for our family of 4. We cooked in for many of our meals, and we enjoyed eating them outside at the dining table. The backyard and various outdoor seating areas were delightful. The location of the home is convenient to everything. We will definitely stay at this home again.
This home is truly a gem. We felt very comfortable as soon as we walked through the door. The owners take pride in their home and have done an exceptional job with the decor. We loved the cozy backyard and the ambiance of the lighting. The home was very clean and well stocked. They have thought of so many nice touches. Loved the dog place mat. Next time we are visiting Santa Barbara this is our first choice.

My husband and I used this house for a weekend get-away with another couple. The house was absolutely perfect. It's in a great location, clean and well-appointed for guests. The backyard patio was perfect for relaxing with a wine and cheese spread in the afternoon. So much better than a hotel as a way to hang out and visit with friends. We highly recommend this property and hope to use it again.

We recently traveled with another couple to the Charming Spanish Bungalow, and very much enjoyed this clean, quaint, well-equipped property. The backyard certainly speaks for itself - we enjoyed cocktails and dinner outside one night, and couldn't have asked for a more lovely setting. Just a note - there are two full baths, but one of them is seriously tiny and located away from the bedrooms. The water pressure is fantastic in both showers and the bathrooms are both clean and modern, but we thought it may be worth sharing the layout information on the baths. Go to the Charming Spanish Bungalow for a great location and a very cute atmosphere with a pretty view!
