Thoroughly enjoyed stay! House was beautiful. Loved that sheets and towels were included. Great location.

improvements that would be nice: additional cookware and eating utensils (forks)

Perfect Place for Whitewater Rafting Stay

  • 5 of 5

We had a group of 6 adults that went whitewater rafting over in Ohiopyle. The house was only 10 miles from our check-in location for whitewater rafting. The is slightly smaller than what the pictures show, but the finished basement has a lot of open room. When we were at the house, we spent most of our time there. We still felt comfortable in the house with the 6 of us, but the max people for comfort would be about 10 adults. The house had 3 beds and 3 pull out couches for sleeping. The grill had a full propane tank which worked out great since we cooked out one night and there were logs there to build a fire though we did not utilize them. There is a path to a pretty cool looking waterfall, but it was definitely an adventure to get to it. I do recommend checking it out, but just be prepared for some mud, climbing over some fallen trees and a long trek. Overall, the house was fantastic and I would stay there again if we plan another trip.

Lovely, peaceful, well kept and a view of cows!

  • 4 of 5

We used this home as the meeting place for a mini family reunion over thanksgiving weekend. The home was lovely, welcoming and comfortable. It was well stocked with kitchen basics and cleaning supplies. The location was central for hiking, sight seeing etc. The wifi was super speedy, And we loved the view of cows!

Better than expected

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at the house during the Columbus day weekend. Although it was smaller than we expected, the house was nice and neat, and it has everything we needed for a comfortable stay! The location is great if you plan to visit the Fallingwater, it is only 2 miles away from the house. The house is also fun to stay with games and outdoor grill, great views outside of house, we really hope that our vacation could had been longer. It was a little hard to find, since we arrived at midnight and the area was pretty dark with only a few street lights along the way, a group of house numbers were displayed at the entrance of the lot instead of on the house itself...however, we managed to find it at the end, thanks for the landlord's clear explanation. Highly recommend if you're looking for an affordable and lovely vacational home!

AWESOME !!!

  • 5 of 5

Just speechless guys... I dont know what to say !!! .. first of all, you need to have some sense of adventure to find the falling water just like on the picture.. to be honest it took a while for me to figure it out how to get there... I`m just like I met some local farmer whose very nice willing to point me how to get there. Trust me people`s !! is breath taking !! It feel like you own the view just for your eyes only !! to anyone who never been in this property... you should look to yourself... you wont regret !! and of course Rob the owner is very nice, he will return your call immediately if you have any concern not like some property owner I know,... they wont answer or pick the phone especially on the weekend. Above of all... it was nice place for vacation and get away from all the headache !! I`ll look forward to visit again next year Rob !!!

Lovely place to stay near Ohiopyle

  • 4 of 5

Had a great stay at the Mill Run Manor. Loved the firepit...plenty of wood provided. The basement was absolutely our favorite part of the house. Spacious, with a jukebox and foosball table. The trail to the waterfall must not have been traveled much lately, as it was a bit hard to follow, but we did eventually get there. Kind of a fun little adventure, but wear real shoes (no flip flops).
