Amazingly beautiful, relaxing and peaceful.

  • 5 of 5

The pictures do not give this wonderful home justice! The home is beautiful and has such a relaxing vibe. The owners left a delicious bottle of wine which was thoughtful and welcoming. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. I love watching nature, and there was a bird's nest close enough to watch the parents feed the babies! The hot tub was big and clean and also very relaxing. We have been to other locations in this area, but we will be making Beaver's Hill Cottage our "go to" spot for our vacation.

Wonderful relaxing retreat!

  • 5 of 5

This was our second year in a row getting together at this cabin for a friends' reunion weekend, and we enjoyed it so much we now plan to make it an annual trip. The cabin was large and comfortable for 4 people. We enjoyed cooking on the grill and relaxing in the hot tub. We probably would have spent more time outdoors on the lovely porches had it not been for the 19 degree weather the weekend of our stay! The fall leaves were perfect, though, and we enjoyed our days hiking at nearby Shenandoah National Park and multiple wineries and craft breweries. Very well-located but also feels remote, quiet, and out in nature if you are looking for a relaxing retreat. Highly recommend this cabin!

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for your review. We're always honored when people come back to stay and are especially honored that you all are considering making it an annual trip to Beavers Hill Cottage! We're glad you enjoyed your 2nd stay with us. We also love that the cottage is located in a quiet area, but is close to the Appalachian trail, wineries and breweries. Thanks again for your review and we look forward to your next visit to Beavers Hill Cottage! ~Rachelle & Don

Great cabin for a getaway

  • 5 of 5

Cabin was exactly as expected. Perfect for 3 couples (three rooms with double beds). It was clean, the kitchen was well equipped, instructions for use of everything were very clear and it was the perfect location to explore Front Royal, Linden and Markham. We enjoyed exploring the quaint towns and wine tasting in the area. The property owners were a delight to work with and even left us a nice welcome note and a bottle of wine from a local winery. The satellite TV had some challenges with the rain but that is to be expected where we were. Just meant more time for games instead of football. We would recommend this cabin.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your review. We're glad our three bedrooms with queen beds were perfect for the 3 couples that stayed! The wineries and town of Front Royal are a great way to enjoy the area. Dish network can be spotty on the mountain due to the location and weather sometimes and is out of our control, but there is so much to do and enjoy in Linden we're glad it didn't deter you. Thank you for your kind review. We try to be as responsive and welcoming as possible. We hope you will come back to stay in the future! ~Rachelle & Don

comfy and cute

  • 5 of 5

This cottage is perfect! My hubby and I left our 2 kids and 2 dogs at home for a 2-night getaway. When not visiting wineries in the area, we were super comfy and cozy in this adorable little house. It is clean, well-maintained, and nicely equipped for your stay. The hot tub is a nice bonus as well. I would highly recommend this house for anyone visiting the area. Thank you so much for sharing your house with us!
