Private Mountain location

  • 5 of 5

The cottage was very clean and nice. We enjoyed our stay very much. Very nice hot tub and very private location. The roads were a little scary at first narrow and gravel but no issues seeing that it was summer time. The pictures and description were spot on. We enjoyed seeing the mountain views on skyline drive. Gas station and 7-eleven very close on route 55 was nice for things needed in a pinch. Enjoyed the ice cream stop near the Apple BBq place.

Owner's Response: Thanks for your review Christine! We appreciate you taking care of the cottage during your stay and keeping it so clean. There are gravel roads on the mountain and that's why we go over that in our rental agreement since that will be important during the winter months if it snows. We're so glad you enjoyed skyline drive and the ice cream spot (that's our favorite in the summer as well!) Thanks again for staying at Beavers Hill Cottage. We hope you come back to visit! ~Rachelle & Don

A wonderful, peaceful retreat

  • 5 of 5

This was our second visit, and we stayed for nearly a week. We had a terrific time. The cottage is cozy, stylish, clean, and comfortable. We love just being able to cook for ourselves in a relaxed manner. The cottage is very secluded and quiet -- though every so often one hears the sound of a vehicle on a road nearby (very occasionally).

Such a place of peace. This is a perfect spot for a relaxing getaway.

The house was lovely and perfect for our family - mom and dad and adult children. We really enjoyed breakfast out on the deck overlooking the forest. We highly recommend.

A Perfect Getaway!

  • 5 of 5

The Beavers Hill Cottage was in a perfect location, the house itself was beautiful and spacious, and you can't beat the hot tub! Rachelle and Don were excellent hosts, and upon entering the cottage we had a bottle of local wine waiting for our group of 4. We hope to come back again, and would definitely recommend!

will stay here again!

  • 5 of 5

Myself and 4 friends do a girls weekend twice a year, and this April we stayed here. We LOVED the house! Plenty of room for 5 adults, great décor, comfortable, awesome deck and hot tub, and owners were easy to work with during the rental process. Would highly recommend this beautiful house !

Coming back!!!!

  • 5 of 5

house was very nice, clean, neate and well organized. If its your first time there would not recommend going in the dark... hard to locate it when dark , main floor bedroom and bathroom great for older people with limited mobility. nice and secluded. Best hot tub we have seen on a rental unit... only little comment towrd negative TV sort of small for wall that it hangs on.. No problem but if your a guy and its a football weekend you might be a little disappointed with tv but place was not built to watch TV......

Owner's Response: Thanks for your review! We do have plans to redo the fireplace and install a larger TV in the future. We do hope people are enjoying the wineries, outdoors and the the mountain more than the TV, but we certainly understand it's nice to have a larger TV :) The cottage is in a rural area, so yes there are no street lights and it is dark depending on what time you arrive. We are glad you enjoyed the hot tub and your stay. We look forward to having you back at Beavers Hill Cottage in the future! ~Rachelle & Don
