About robert brooks
My father built this home when I was young. I total renovated it 5 years ago and made it mostly rustic but kept some of the original characteristics. The main floor ceilings were plastered when the house was built by a one man expert that can't be found today. My wife and I flag stoned the patio and created a very relaxing firepit area which we love to enjoy when it is not being rented. We love to hike through the woods adjacent to the house about 1/2 mile to the beautiful hand made waterfall. Sitting on the patio you can see the beautiful mountains and the neighbors farm with cows.
Why robert brooks chose Normalville
This place is truly your home away from home. It is fully equipped with everything you would need...all linen, washer and dryer, iron, all appliances, dishes, tv' s in all rooms, fire places, beautiful view from the sun room, juke box, fuseball table, fire pit, a short walk through the woods to see an amazing waterfall.

Fresh and clean. Quiet, peaceful, pleasant stay.
There's a difference between "clean" and "fresh and clean" and this place was fresh and clean. The appliances were modern. The kitchen was well stocked. Our trip was for unplugging so I can't comment on the Wifi speed (although I know it was working as was the cable TV). We were really looking forward to the walking path to the waterfall, but that didn't work out for us. It got hard to follow and perhaps, being skittish city folk, we bailed too soon. Overall experience was excellent.
Beautiful Place to Stay
My friends and I stayed here for a weekend getaway. The property is nice, the basement game room is awesome, and many amenities are easy to find. The proximity to Ohiopyle was a nice plus — we only had to drive 12 minutes to go whitewater rafting!
Great basement to hang out in, interesting decor, convenient location, nice firepit, and overall a good stay with plenty of space for a large group to sleep.

House is private and lives big
The house was perfect. Definitely coming back.
Pretty location with great sitting areas perfect for visiting.
This home was great for our stay. We met 2 other couples that we had been friends with for many years, choosing that location(Ohiopyle) because of its central location for all of us, and because of hiking and biking opportunities nearby.
Mill Run was clean and well equipped, with everything we needed for a great retreat. We would stay there again in a heartbeat should the right opportunity arise.
