About robert brooks

My father built this home when I was young. I total renovated it 5 years ago and made it mostly rustic but kept some of the original characteristics. The main floor ceilings were plastered when the house was built by a one man expert that can't be found today. My wife and I flag stoned the patio and created a very relaxing firepit area which we love to enjoy when it is not being rented. We love to hike through the woods adjacent to the house about 1/2 mile to the beautiful hand made waterfall. Sitting on the patio you can see the beautiful mountains and the neighbors farm with cows.

Why robert brooks chose Normalville

This place is truly your home away from home. It is fully equipped with everything you would need...all linen, washer and dryer, iron, all appliances, dishes, tv' s in all rooms, fire places, beautiful view from the sun room, juke box, fuseball table, fire pit, a short walk through the woods to see an amazing waterfall.

Relax and enjoy!

  • 5 of 5

Our family stayed this past weekend at The Mill Run Manor. What an amazing place. The house was beautiful, clean, and there was plenty of space for everyone. The owner is super nice and fast to respond to any questions you may have. The finished basement was cozy and a great place to hang out. The fuse ball table was a nice bonus. The outside fire pit was the perfect place to end our day. I loved the log seats. Another cool thing about this property is that there is an awesome waterfall about 1/4 mile from the house that you could walk to. I would recommend this property to anyone looking to get away from it all for a little bit and just enjoy life. Bring your fur friends as they are dog friendly. Plenty of space for them to run and ours enjoyed the hiking as well. We will definitely be coming back.

Relaxing and alot of fun

  • 4 of 5

Place is nice and clean. Lots to do out doors, which we liked the most. Juke box and space heater down stairs didn’t work. Overall great place. Would suggest it to others.

Weekend getaway

  • 5 of 5

The Mill Run Manor exceeded my expectations! The house is nestled at the end of a dead end drive and other than some light traffic noise from the nearby road, was very quiet. Our group of 8 had plenty of space to allow for different sleeping schedules, some could go to sleep in the basement while the rest of us moved upstairs to continue playing cards. We greatly enjoyed the foosball table and spent more time than we thought challenging each other! Overall a great space for a weekend getaway with friends!

Very quiet and suited or needs well. Nice to have all the amenities of a complete home

  • 4 of 5

We had a great time staying in this rental property. Was a little cramped for 11 of us but the children enjoyed the foosball and the spacious downstairs. Everything went without a hitch. The children loved the cows in the adjoining property. would definitely recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay in the area. Very quiet neighborhood.

Beautiful Manor by Waterfall

  • 5 of 5

The Mill Run Manor was exactly what I was looking for when planning a White Water Rafting adventure with the guys. There were 7 of us and everyone slept very comfortably. We grilled out for dinner, sat by a fire at night, and enjoyed the music on the jukebox. The owner of the property provided our stay with everything we needed and was always accessible if I ever needed to contact him. Every person in my party commented on how nice the place was and are already planning a stay here for our next WWR trip. Thank you Mr. Brooks! I highly recommend this property and will be back!
