Peaceful cozy cabin by the river

  • 5 of 5

We rented this cabin for our anniversary and we not let down at all. Fully stocked with everything u need to relax and unwind for a few days. Good fishing on the river right outside the door and peacefully tucked into the hills but only a short drive to town. We will definitely be back

Wonderful Experience!

  • 5 of 5

We spent a relaxing three days at the cabin. Loved spending time on the porch, reading, listening to the rushing water and watching the hummingbirds, chickadees and titmice feeding at the bird feeders. The river was fun to wade in- would have been great to swim in earlier in the summer. The cabin was warm and inviting. The small but charming town of Burnsville was a fifteen minute drive from the cabin and worth a visit. All in all, it was a wonderful experience!

Cozy cabin in the woods

  • 4 of 5

My husband, dog, and I stayed in this adorable cabin for 5 days when we evacuated our home in St. Augustine, Florida. The arrangements were easy to make, which we especially appreciate because it was just before Hurricane Irma. The space was perfect and included everything we needed to settle in quickly. All the furnishings were comfortable and serviceable. The view from the huge porch is lovely, and we spent a lot of time drinking in the air and relaxing. We were able to enjoy a drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway and a trip to Asheville. In Burnsville and Spruce Pine were all the groceries we needed plus a variety of shops for very nice craft shopping. The cabin could have been a bit cleaner, but that is just a comment rather than a complaint. Thank you for having this beautiful retreat available for rent. We recommend it highly.

Clearwater Cabin is a great place just to get away

  • 5 of 5

This is my third stay here in three years and I have fallen in love with Clearwater Cabin! The cabin is fully equipped so you can travel light, a quick stop in Burnsville and you're set for the week. The porch faces the river and is a great place to pass the day away, the fishing is great with both native and stocked trout. I'm looking forward to my next visit!

Great Location and Charming Ccabin!

  • 5 of 5

The location on this cabin is simply perfect! Over looking the river and the large porch was as relaxing as it gets; to the point that we hardly were inside at all. The accessibility to the river makes it a great place to stay swim and fish. From the cabin its a easy trip into the surrounding towns and mt Mitchell. Our dogs had a blast in the river and were very lazy on the porch. We are already talking about another visit!
