Good location, close to shops, restaurants, art galleries, and beach walks. I appreciate the secure parking garage. The property was well maintained, but be prepared for some early morning phone conversations (heard through the wall) from the adjoining office suite. Hopefully, the construction activity just outside will be over soon. The owner was very helpful throughout the entire process. Description and photos accurately describe the property. I would recommend this property to friends/relatives.

This condo was very spacious and very clean. The location was perfect because we wanted to be in walking distance of the beaches and restaurants. Robyn, the owner was great! She was very helpful in planning this trip and gave us wonderful tips on what to see in San Diego. She is also a photographer and she took awesome pictures of my family on the beach. I highly recommend this condo!!!
Location is excellent
We had been to La Jolla and San Diego area for a few times in past years. This time, we have chosen to stay in this property. Location-wise, it is excellent. It is within walking distance to a few good restaurants and the La Jolla Cove is within five minutes' walk. The facilities of the property is good and are exactly the same as shown in the photos. Two bedrooms with king sized beds that can comfortably accommodate four adults. Plus the air bed and sofa bed, it can easily cater for six. The property is clean and the washing machine and dryer are certainly positive elements for consideration of lodging.
The only drawback of the property that I would indicate is the wifi. The speed is slow and in certain area of the apartment, it is off. Despite the matter was referred to the owner who promised to get the tech guy to fix it, we don't find any improvement. Since we have to stay connected with our business even during vacation period, sometimes we have to share the mobile phone hotspot of my daughter who studies in UCSD. Other than this, our vacation and stay in the property is perfect. If not of the wifi, I would grade this property five stars.
Great location near restaurants, shopping, and the beach
After spending time in La Jolla a few years ago on a business trip, I knew I wanted to bring the entire family to the area for vacation. After much searching, we selected this property based on it's location and price. The property owner was responsive and easy to deal with throughout the entire process and stay.
First off, having gated, underground parking is a huge plus in this area. Parking can be a problem but not for us since we were able to leave the car in the garage and walk where we needed to go in the evenings. We spent our days visiting the area attractions and found this location to be very convenient and centrally located. Being just a 5 minute drive from La Jolla Shores is very nice if you have younger kids. It is one of the best and safest beaches that I have seen for kids.
The condo itself is interesting, as it is within a commercial building. This actually is a good thing since after hours and during weekends the place was empty and very quiet. We were very pleased with the size of the condo as well. With two large bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a large family room, dining room and kitchen, there was plenty of space to spread out and relax. We also enjoyed using the grill on the large patio. The two HD TVs got plenty of use later in the evening when we just wanted to relax after a busy day of sightseeing.
There are a few things to note about the property. One, is there is no scenic view from the patio or small deck. Just have to walk a few blocks to get to the ocean, so this is not a big deal. The other things is that getting into the condo does require two flights of stairs from the parking garage. Not an issue for us, but something to keep in mind if don't like or have trouble with stairs.
Otherwise, we very much enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

We loved the space and location of the property.
My wife and I stayed at this property with our five kids ranging in age from 15 months to 11yrs old. There was a portacrib and a queen size air mattress, in addition to the two king size beds. The bedrooms were big enough to put the air mattress and portacrib in either one, so the kids could all stay in one room while the baby stayed in our room. Having two bathrooms was a plus and the living areas were very spacious for the kids to run around and play in. It is about a 5 minute drive to la jolla shores which is a great family beach. We used the beach chairs, umbrella, and boogie boards provided with the property. We took the kids surfing and boogie boarding there a couple times and they loved it and we loved the short drive home after a long fun day at the beach. It is walking distance from the la jolla cave store and la jolla cove which is where all the sea lions hang out. It is super nice to have your own underground parking in la jolla. We went to sea world and the zoo, the property is about 15minutes from each and we also went to the safari park which was about 25-30 minutes away. The traffic was great, it seemed like everybody was trying to go where we just came from. That was a pleasant surprise because I always hear horror stories about Southern California traffic. Robyn was great, she offered to take our family pictures when we were there at a very reasonable rate. She did a great job with our crew of 7, and picked a very cool spot for the shoot. The pros far outweigh the cons to this property, but there are a few things to consider. There weren't any bath tubs, no biggie for us all the kids took showers. You do park underground and will need to haul whatever you bring up two flights of stairs. Again no biggie, it's good cardio. The parking is a little tight if you have a large vehicle. And since its in more of a business area rather than residential the garbage truck seemed to come by every morning, on recycling days it comes by a few times. No biggie, no sleeping in past 8, helps you get up and enjoy the area. It was great not having neighbors, the kids could be loud and we didn't have to worry about ruining someone else's stay. Overall we were very pleased and would definitely come back and would recommend it to our friends. Thanks Robyn for offering a great property at an affordable rate allowing big families like ours to be able to have a great vacation!
Great La Jolla condo
We had a wonderful stay at this property in the heart of La Jolla. The condo was spacious and well maintained, furnished with everything we required. Robyn, the owner, made the process very easy. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a great vacation.
Activity and Interests
Legoland is just a few minutes up the 5 North where the kids can play all day! And for the adults, the Carlsbad Premium Outlet Shops and great restaurants are also just a few minutes drive away. And, of course, we have the San Diego Zoo. And don't forget a trip to Coronado. This quaint community has great shopping and wonderful food venues.
