Guestbook comments from the owner

Good location, close to shops, restaurants, art galleries, and beach walks. I appreciate the secure parking garage. The property was well maintained, but be prepared for some early morning phone conversations (heard through the wall) from the adjoining office suite. Hopefully, the construction activity just outside will be over soon. The owner was very helpful throughout the entire process. Description and photos accurately describe the property. I would recommend this property to friends/relatives.

Spacious place in a great location!

  • 5 of 5

The place was perfect for us. Very spacious, with plenty of room for our baby to crawl and explore, quiet and walking distance to several restaurants and stores. Host was very nice and attentive. We would definitely recommend this place! We had an amazing time with family in San Diego!

The condo was spacious and beautiful. It has everything we needed.

  • 3 of 5

The condo is situated in a very good neighborhood, close to Vons market, coffee shops and restaurants. However, the beach is not a walking distance. To go down to the Cove there are steep stairs that makes it difficult to bring a cooler, besides you can not swim on that beach because is full of seals and the area has a bad odor. La Jolla Bay beach is 5 min. away, but is very crowded and difficult to find parking space. We ended up driving 15 min. to Pacific Beach and that beach is much nicer, we spent most of the time there. Overall our stay was nice, but I would not plan it on a weekend next time. Thank you Robyn!! We had a great time.

Owner's Response: I wanted to post a couple of quick comments to this review as we have lived in the area for 25+ years. The La Jolla Cove is DEFINITELY within walking distance. It is exactly .25 miles from the condo. It is a VERY popular beach to swim at as MOST of the triathletes in the area use the cove to do their buoy swims and training. And a lot of families use it b/c there are no waves and it's great for little kids to run around. If you want to boogie board or surf, then yes, you would need to go down the hill about 5-7 minutes to La Jolla Shores. That is a great family beach that also has a playground AND bathrooms. :)

Just as advertised!

  • 5 of 5

A little tricky at first, but after we settled in, perfect for our vacation. This is a very spacious 2 bedroom (both kings) condo. As noted by others, the internet access sucks, but Robyn say this is all about to be replaced. The place was clean, well equipped, quiet, comfortable, and perfectly located in the heart of downtown LaJolla. No worries about on-street parking either. If I ever go back to LaJolla, this is where I will stay!
