Receive $150 discount on weeks left in August 2018 in booked by February 15, 2018. Perfectly located House Between Long & Short Sands Beach! No need to choose which beach to go to with this spacious house. Our house is at 11 Long Beach Avenue (It is at the corner of Long Beach Ave and Church St., just up the street from where google shows the marker). You will be right between Long Sands and Short Sands Beaches, within easy walking distance to both, as well as all of the downtown York Beach, with its bandstand, playground, shops, and Goldenrod taffy! This 4 bedroom New Englander features open bright rooms, high ceilings and hardwood floors and a fabulous wrap around Farmers porch to sit in the shade and enjoy a cool lemonade. A grassy yard with with split rail fence and a fully enclose private outdoor shower lets you clean off and relax before supper.

On the first floor, the newly renovated large sunny kitchen with tile floor, lots of windows, and doors to the porch, is a pleasure to cook and eat in. A full size dining room allows for big families to eat together. The large living room with oversized windows is a great space to hang out together at night. The old “parlor” has been transformed to a board game room or spare bedroom depending on your needs. This room has a pullout couch with a queen size bed, along with a distinctive bay window area and a large closet, which allows any guests who can’t use stairs, the convenience of a lovely room with bathroom with shower on the same first floor.

The upstairs has a spacious master bedroom with queen size bed, another bedroom with queen size bed (beside the new bathroom) and two more bedrooms with 2 single beds in each. There is a 1/4 bath off one room and a newly renovated full sized bathroom with tile floor, a seperate shower and claw foot tub at the end of the hall.

Hello travelers! Our name is Sarah and Herb Taylor. We have owned this wonderful house, 11 Long Beach Ave (4 bedrooms) which is on the the corner of Long Beach and Church Street for 5 years. We also own 3 Broadway, 5 Broadway (2 bedroom) and 7 Broadway (3 bedroom). Herb has been vacationing in York with his family since he was a child. We love York Beach and our proud to share our houses with our special guests so they can enjoy this magical town with their families every year. We are so pleased to have guests come back every year to our houses and now consider these houses an important part of their family tradition! The location of our houses were chosen to be convenient to both beaches AND the downtown food and fun. Welcome to a great vacation!

Perfect summer vacation house!

This is the perfect location! It's easy to walk to both Short and Long Sands beaches. It is close to town. Great for walking to dinner, playground, basketball hoops etc... This house has everything you would need for cooking, playing and relaxing. The porches are wonderful for morning tea AND evening glass of wine. The house is large enough for a couple families. It is clean and beautifully decorated! Working with Sarah Taylor was a delight!! I would definitely stay here again!!

Great home for a perfect family vacation. House is just as described, plenty of room and the front porch is a perfect place to relax any time of the day. The outdoor shower is AMAZING! Plenty of room for the large family or group. Herb and Sarah are great communicators and keep their home in excellent condition. 5 minute walk to short sands, 5 minute walk to long sands - take your pick. We had such a great family vacation - thank you! Dan and Lisa (and family!).

As good as it gets!

This is a great place! We are a large group, 2 families vacationing together for years & this was a perfect fit. Sarah & Herb are fantastic hosts...you can see their hard work everywhere you look. The updates are awesome with plenty of old charm too....the front porch is the place to be for your morning coffee! You can walk everywhere,downtown, beach, pavilion, Nubble Light.... Cannot wait to return next year...thanks for such a great vacation! Lisa, Tom & family
