Cant wait to go back.

We had a great time, the cabin was so clean and cozy, we had a little fire every night roasted marshmallows. Went kayaking and the fishing was great. Saw so much wild life in the three day we were there. We already made our next reservations for our next trip. Thank you Lea so much.

Fabulous Experience

  • 5 of 5

We had the best time staying in this charming cottage on Aker's Pond! The location at the end of the road was quiet, and the view of the pond from the front patio was sensational, especially at sunset! Our neighbor was so helpful and gracious. We managed to relax, hike in the gorgeous Dixeville Notch State Park up the road and in Grafton Notch State Park just over the boarder in Maine! We also drove up to Pittsburgh and spotted a moose eating on the highway. Overall it was an amazing experience! We will definitely be back next summer!!!!

Akers pond cottage - a slice of heaven in NH!

  • 5 of 5

I was already on cloud 9 cuz I just married my best friend & than his mother tells us we can honeymoon any where...we love NH we live in NH. So we didn't want to go far. This cottage was a dream come true for us! As soon as you opened the door you smelled wood & the place looked brand new. We had our own private dock. No one around for miles we assumed due to the fact it was September. We felt like we had Akers Pond to our selves for an entire week. Everyday we woke up to postcard perfect views! We got to fish & recharge for sure! Bonus was LL Cote best giant store ever! We had so much fun & relaxation we are trying to figure out how to go back for our 1 year anniversary. Beautiful, peaceful & quiet! We had an amazing week we will never forget! Thank you Lea & thank you momma Cook!

Beautiful, clean and very comfortable

  • 5 of 5

Two couples stayed for 3 nights with Kayaks. Had a wonderful time exploring Akers Pond and nearby Rivers. We got up early looking for Moose but only found tracks, maybe next time !!!! We did get great pictures of a mature Eagle on one of the Rivers and enjoyed the great sound of the Loons on Akers Pond. We had great fires every night and enjoyed incredible sunsets. We highly recommend this place.

Peace and quiet

  • 5 of 5

Finally we have found a place where there truly is peace and quiet. A lovely spot to look at, a delightful spot to listen to. We could enjoy the cry of the loons as well as hear the woodpeckers in the trees. The whole family enjoyed the serenity and look forward to returning next year. Thanks Lea for such a refreshing vacation home.

The eagle has landed

  • 5 of 5

If you hate gorgeous sunsets , catching big bass or sitting buy the campfire looking up at a billion stars in the sky then this cabin is not for you. every thing you can think of to do is just minutes away 4 wheeling, moose watching, whitewater kayaking to name a few. The cabin was spotless and comes with every thing you need just bring you sheets and towels. Oh I forgot to mention the big bald eagle that swooped down and grabbed a fish about 15 feet off the dock !

we will definitely be back had a great time thanks Lea.
