Great Anniversary Weekend

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed at this cabin for our one-year wedding anniversary. It was so peaceful, quiet and cozy - just what we were looking for. The setting was beautiful -- at one point, we sat and watched a fox for a couple of hours :) We loved being near the beautiful Columbine Lake and Grand Lake -- we even saw a bull moose and a female moose! Grand Lake was a fun little town with some great food options - the Sagebrush, Grand Lake Lodge and Blue Water Bakery were delicious. The smoothies at Jump Start were also fantastic. Grumpy's was a fun bar to go to on Saturday night. VERY easy access to MANY hiking trails.

Location, Location, Location!

  • 5 of 5

Just returned from a week in this amazing house in a great location. Beds were all comfortable, the kitchen was fully stocked, and the sightseeing was unbelieveable. Our last day in the Columbine Lake area we had 2 large bull moose and a female moose just 2 blocks from the house. We loved that it was so close to RMNP as we took several drives in to watch the wildlife. The only thing we were missing in the house was a hair dryer. It was great to have a washer and dryer, and we cooked most meals there. There was even a baby gate available to keep our 1 year old grandson off the stairs. We hope to return again!

  • 5 of 5

It was everything we expected and everything they promised in the listing. A great cabin with lots of room, wonderful TV area, dinner table for eight, and a fully equipped kitchen. I would highly recommend this place for anyone or group wanting to get away for a short weekend or long week. just a great place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Colorado's great outdoors!!

Great Place

  • 4 of 5

Everything was just as advertised. Kitchen was stocked with more than expected, we had lots of room.

Suggestion--directions should include that you turn at Columbine Lake sign, we never saw a sign for the road itself.

The grill ran out of propane after one use.

Great neighborhood, the last day there were several bull moose just around the corner from the house--awesome experience.

Wish there was a fireplace inside, we planned on using the fire pit but it rained. Would stay here again and recommend it.

Natural Beauty!

  • 5 of 5

This house is amazing! The pictures do not adequately reveal the size and beauty of the house and the surrounding property. This house is spacious, super clean, beautifully maintained, and the property manager was wonderful! The view from the deck is breathtaking and we had multiple wildlife sitings during our stay. Amoung them, a bear came trudging through the yard one morning and we walked up on a moose while hiking the East Trail/Adams Falls. The neighborhood is extremely quiet and the stars at night were spectacular! There is so much to do in Grand Lake - in addition to hiking we also went horseback riding with a fabulous trail guide we hired from the stables in town. All the eating establishments in Grand Lake were excellent as well. We loved this property and hope to come back again!
