Very nice roomy house. Beautiful views. Kind and helpful owner

  • 5 of 5

We stayed just one night in this nice home in Talkeetna. We arrived early and the owner let us store our suitcases in the anteroom for convenience. The house is up a fairly long and windy dirt road - similar to many properties off the main roads in Alaska. The views are beautiful. The kitchen was clean, well equipped and roomy. Plenty of common area seating. Nice new washer and dryer. Nicely decorated bedrooms with comfortable mattresses. We did run out of hot water when our party of 5 all tried to bathe one right after the next so try to space out your showers. Other than that, we enjoyed our quick stay.

had a girls group of 12 people so we rented all the buildings so each person could have there own sleeping place. ! very unique place in Talkeetna alaska. well stocked, owners were amazing and lots of memorabilia around to from the owners travels. Mt Denali peaked out for us, and you can see it from several vantage points around the house and property. weather was perfect, beds and rooms very comfortable and all and all it received a A plus!!

it had comfort, convenience , and had interesting and intriguing design and art around the place.

YES i would stay there again. good for groups, small gatherings!

It’s amazing. The amenities are exactly what we needed and the location and views were perfect.

Out of the wild mountain house was exactly what we needed. This entire property was incredible. We were able to have a scavenger hunt on the trail, have a bonfire, and truly just enjoyed the space here.

Thank you so much for providing this space for everyone to share. We have been so delighted to be here and are a little sad to leave. I will definitely recommend this property to others.

Beautiful Mountain Home!

  • 5 of 5

Unfortunately, we were only able to stay one night on our way to Denali, so did not get to take advantage of all the amenities. The home was immaculate and and beautifully decorated...felt like a small castle! We did get to enjoy a glass of wine while taking in the incredible mountain view from the patio. This would definitely be our first choice for our next trip to Alaska, and will plan to stay over a few more days. The Winebrenners, Frisco TX.
