Spectacular Vacation

  • 5 of 5

Joe was an excellent host. He came to find us and lead us to the cabin after our GPS quit working. He called to ask if we needed extra sheets or anything else. The cabin was stocked with everything you could possibly need. The view was spectacular and the accessibility to Estes Park was excellent. Best time we have had in a very long time. Thank you!

Comfortable, Clean, Conveniently Located, Welcoming Hosts

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I had a wonderful time staying at Curtins Hitching Post. Joe has beautifully refurbished the cabin yet retained the charm of the original structure. All the modern conveniences are included and the kitchen is well appointed with pretty much all you need to cook nice meals at home. Very conveniently located to town and park entrance. We loved being right next to the river and spent a good bit of time on the porch or walking on the rocks in the river watching the fish swim by. Hearing the sound of the water at night is super relaxing. Joe was courteous and welcoming and made us feel comfortable that he would be there if we needed anything. We would stay here again.

Cute little cabin!

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time, the cabin is perfect for a small family of four and was a prefect place to come back to relax after hitting the trails or Estes Park shopping. My boys enjoyed fishing in the river in front of the house and exploring the wildlife. Joe and his wife are awesome hosts. There were some issues with the water heater and they were quick to fix the issue and make sure we were comfortable.

We had a wonderful time at this cabin! It was close to town, yet we were still out in the wilderness. We loved the sound of the river outside and would highly recommend this vacation spot to any small family or couple who just want to get away from the business of life and enjoy the great outdoors.
