About Karen Kwiatkowski
The house was built in 1970. My grandfather financed the house and land, so his grandchildren would get to experience nature.
Karen Kwiatkowski purchased this House in 1970
Why Karen Kwiatkowski chose Washington
This is a unique property...for many reasons...It is located on a semi private lake, which means that only landowners and their guests can use the lake and the beach area. You will enjoy nature, many hiking trails nearby, Ekcardt's Farm is close and you may go and see a working farm. There is raw milk and fresh meat there for you to purchase. You are located about 20 minutes away from Hillsboro, NH, in this town you can find restaurants, Shaw's Market, Rite Aid, Liquor Store and more

Beautiful and peaceful place!
We had a wonderful and peaceful week at Karen's lakefront house. Karen was waiting for us upon our arrival and gave us a quick tour of the house and its amenities; all was clean and ready for us. Our son and his fiancée joined us half way through the week and they also enjoyed the lake to its fullest. We all especially enjoyed the kayaks and canoe! Island Pond we found out is really a lake! But no matter its name, it's so picturesquely calming and refreshing. We met several locals at the beach, from young to older, all enjoying the beach, the dock, corn hole racks and its volleyball court! It was nice seeing the now college group of friends reuniting for the summer at their favorite place and reminiscing their younger years there. This place is welcoming to all ages! We are definitely coming back next summer!
This property was a good value for the price. Comfortable house, beautiful views, a good variety of water craft. The beach area, about a mile away, was very nice and not crowded. The hill down to the water was a little daunting for the Grandmother in our group and we didn’t have phone service. But this is a great location if you want quiet and relaxing.
Looking for a place to kick back and relax well this is it !!!!!
As advertised, had everything we wanted, hope to return! Beautiful quiet area.
Family house, lots of love in it, warm place to be with family and friends.
We all had a great time thank you. House was bigger than the pictures looked.5year old Granddaughter was busy all week swimming , fishing ,kayaking having fun.
Nice Quiet Retreat
Had a short stay in July 2017 and Karen the owner was prompt and on time with everything.
We had a problem with the outdoor grill and I believe she showed up the same day with a new one. Very responsive.
The place was large and very accommodating (5 of us and 2 dogs). The lake to the house is uphill a hundred steps or so but rather nice as it gives a nice overlook. Dock was sturdy and well built. Paddleboat, kayaks, and a canoe were all in great shape (Paddle boat was brand new).
Would recommend and stay again.
Located less than 2 miles from a farm, which offers your family the opportunity to explore farm life. Fishing, hiking, volley ball and baseball, boating, horseshoes, snorkeling, biking, conoeing, swimming and sunbathing, wild life viewing. In July there is a balloon festival and in August, a regatta.
